Demir Ajvazi says he built Ultra Creative Suite after unlabeled controls, visual timelines and drag-and-drop workflows made professional video editors difficult to use with JAWS. His Windows editor is designed around keyboard-operated controls and a timeline that screen readers can interpret. That is his account of the project—not an independent accessibility audit or a verdict on every version of other editors.
Why build another video editor?
Ajvazi describes trying professional editing software with JAWS and encountering buttons without useful labels, timelines presented visually, and workflows that depended on dragging items with a mouse. Those obstacles made it hard to know what was selected, where a clip sat, or how to perform core editing tasks independently.
His response was to build Ultra Creative Suite, a Windows video and audio editor he says is intended for blind, low-vision and sighted users to work with the same full feature set. In his words, “I got tired of waiting for someone else to fix this.” He frames the project as a practical answer to the question, “why isn’t there accessible software for X”?

A timeline exposed as familiar interface elements
Instead of drawing a timeline as a custom visual control, Ajvazi says he used a native Win32 ListView. He chose it because JAWS and NVDA can expose its items as standard interface elements, without a plugin or workaround. In his description, a clip item includes its name, type, duration, position and audio description, making timeline information available through screen-reader navigation rather than sight alone.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Keyboard operation and clear feedback
Ajvazi says core actions can be performed by keyboard, with standard shortcuts, focus management and live-region announcements telling the user what has happened. “No mouse required for any core workflow,” he writes. That claim concerns the core workflow he describes; the source does not establish that every feature or every interaction in every release is fully keyboard accessible.
What editing workflow does Ultra Creative Suite describe?
Ajvazi presents the editor as more than a timeline demo. He describes a workflow that starts with audio and lyrics, uses a local language model for analysis, gathers stock footage, applies visual grading and ambient sound, and renders a finished video.

- Footage: The workflow is said to download stock footage from Pixabay automatically.
- Grading: Ajvazi describes using FFmpeg curves to apply grading associated with each lyric.
- Ambient sound: He reports a categorized library of more than 1,279 ambient clips for mixing into a project. That count is his reported figure, not an independently checked inventory.
- Output: The article says the editor can render to 4K and that the demo was rendered at 4K; these are the author’s reported capabilities, not independently tested results.
The project article does not provide independent benchmarks or technical validation of these features. They should be understood as Ajvazi’s description of the software.
How does his experience compare with established editors?
Ajvazi contrasts his experience using Premiere and DaVinci Resolve with the design choices in Ultra Creative Suite. His account is that the established editors he tried presented barriers such as unlabeled controls, visually represented timelines and drag-and-drop-dependent actions, while his own design aims to expose timeline clips and editing actions through screen-reader-readable controls and keyboard input.

This is a personal account, not a systematic comparison of current versions, a feature-by-feature test, or an independent accessibility audit. Accessibility can vary by version, operating system, setup and workflow, so it would be inaccurate to treat his experience as a universal judgment about either application.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who built the demo, and what is the project status?
Ajvazi says he created the demo himself while blind, using JAWS and without sighted assistance. He describes Ultra Creative Suite as open source under GPL-3 and links the project repository at github.com/demirajvazi10-max/Ultra-Creative-suite. The available account does not independently verify the current release, license, or present-day usability with JAWS or NVDA, so readers should confirm those details in the project itself.

His article closes with an invitation to people who have wondered, “If you’ve ever thought “why isn’t there accessible software for X” — maybe this is the starting point.” The significance is not that one project resolves video editing accessibility for everyone; it is that a working editor can be designed from the start around screen-reader navigation, keyboard operation and understandable feedback.
