Clash Royale emotes come from several official systems rather than one permanent “free emote” method. You can unlock them through Trophy Road, the Shop, events and challenges, Pass Royale, Supercell ID, promotional Store Codes, and selected Twitch Drops. Each route has its own requirement, claim screen, availability period and, for Twitch, a separate delivery delay.
The key distinction is whether you have earned a reward, claimed it on the platform that issued it, and received it in the game. Following the correct sequence prevents most missing-emote problems.
Every official way to obtain a Clash Royale emote
Use the route that matches the reward you are pursuing. Some systems are permanent progression features, while others rotate or exist only during a named promotion.

|---|---|---|---|
| Shop | Purchase or offer-specific condition shown in game | Clash Royale Shop | Rotating offers; the game displays the current terms |
| Trophy Road | Trophy milestones | In-game Trophy Road reward track | Progression system; rewards become available at the stated milestone |
| Events and challenges | Event-specific wins, points or objectives | The relevant event or challenge screen | Usually time-limited; follow that event’s rules |
| Pass Royale | Reach Arena 2, then earn Crowns for the pass track | Pass Royale view, using its Claim button | Seasonal reward track |
| Supercell ID | Account connection or Supercell ID Rewards missions and points | Game account connection or id.supercell.com | Rewards catalogue and missions change over time |
| Supercell Store Code | A valid promotional code | “Redeem a Store Code” in the relevant Supercell Store | Promotion-dependent; codes can expire or stop working |
| Twitch Drops | Link accounts, watch a Drops-enabled live campaign and meet its requirement | Twitch Drops & More panel or Drops Inventory, then the game | Campaign-limited; delivery is commonly 24–48 hours but can take up to seven days |
Supercell’s emotes support information gives two concrete Trophy Road examples: a celebrating Knight Emote at 2,200 trophies and a clapping Royal Ghost Emote at 4,000 trophies. Those are milestone examples from the current support page, not a guarantee that every emote uses the same trophy thresholds.

Connecting Supercell ID
Supercell states that connecting your account to Supercell ID gives a hidden Legendary Emote, the Chicken Emote. Connect the Supercell ID to the Clash Royale account you actually use; connecting a different account will not place the reward on your intended profile.
How to earn and claim Twitch Drops
Twitch describes Drops as three separate steps, with different parties responsible for each one: earn progress on Twitch, claim the completed Drop on Twitch, and receive delivery from the game developer. Completing only the watch-time step does not finish the process.
1. Link the correct accounts before watching
- Open the account-connection flow for the Clash Royale Twitch campaign.
- Sign in to the Twitch account you will use for viewing.
- Sign in to the Supercell account connected to the intended Clash Royale profile.
- Confirm that the connection shows the correct game account before starting the stream.
Do this before watching. If Twitch is linked to another Clash Royale account, the reward can be delivered to that account instead of the one you meant to use.

Find a live channel carrying the campaign’s Drops Enabled indicator. A replay or video-on-demand recording does not satisfy a live-campaign requirement. Campaigns define their own qualifying watch time or action, so read the event panel rather than assuming a universal duration.

A historical example is Supercell’s P.E.K.K.A vs Mega Knight Creator Showdown. In that named event, viewers who connected Clash Royale and Twitch and watched for 120 minutes received the King Pixel Tower Emote. The 120-minute requirement applied to that event only; it is not a standard requirement for every Clash Royale Drop.
3. Claim the completed Drop on Twitch
When the progress requirement is complete, open Twitch’s Drops & More panel or Drops Inventory and select Claim. Watching until the progress bar fills is not the same as claiming the item. Twitch allows unclaimed rewards to be claimed for up to seven days after the campaign ends.
4. Wait for game delivery
After the Twitch claim succeeds, the game developer handles delivery. Twitch’s general guidance says most rewards arrive within 24–48 hours; some are instant and some can take up to seven days. Do not unlink and relink accounts repeatedly during that window, because that can make it harder to determine which account was connected when the reward was earned.
Limits that affect Twitch campaigns
- You can earn progress on only one Twitch Drops campaign at a time.
- A completed reward remains claimable for up to seven days after the campaign ends.
- All Drops rewards disappear from Drops Inventory six months after they are added, so do not leave claimed or unclaimed items there indefinitely.
Supercell ID Rewards: points, missions and expiry
Supercell ID Rewards is a separate browser-based rewards catalogue. To use it, open id.supercell.com, sign in with the Supercell ID connected to Clash Royale, complete any available missions and exchange the resulting points for items in the current catalogue.

What changes over time
The available missions and rewards are not fixed. Supercell changes the catalogue, so an item available during one visit may not appear later. Check the catalogue shown after signing in rather than relying on an old list or screenshot.
Point ownership and expiration
- Points cannot be transferred between Supercell IDs.
- Points earned from purchases expire 12 months after the purchase.
- Mission points expire 12 months after the most recent qualifying earning activity.
Those rules mean that signing into the wrong Supercell ID can leave points on the wrong account, and inactive balances can eventually expire even when the account itself remains open.
Store Codes and promotional claims
Supercell describes Store Codes as promotional codes that grant rewards in the Supercell Store. Eligible creators, official Supercell channels, esports events and other promotions may share them. A code is not automatically valid because it appears in a social post: the promotion may have ended, reached a limit or applied only to a named campaign.

Pass Royale emotes and the Claim button
Pass Royale unlocks at Arena 2. You earn Crowns through play and advance the pass reward track. When a reward is ready, the Pass Royale view displays a Claim button. Select it there rather than assuming that reaching the required Crown total automatically adds every reward to your account.
Because Pass Royale is a seasonal track, the exact emotes and other items depend on the active season. The pass screen is the authoritative list for your account and season.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Lucky Chests and why there is no permanent emote drop rate
Supercell’s October 2026 offer disclosure lists Lucky Chest contents by chest level, including cosmetic emote entries. The contents and odds are specific to the individual offer. There is therefore no single permanent “Lucky Chest emote percentage” that can be applied to every chest or every season.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBefore opening a chest, read the current official disclosure for that particular promotion and chest level. Quote the listed contents and odds with the offer’s date and level if you are comparing possibilities; do not generalize one disclosure into a universal drop rate.

Why a watched Twitch stream did not give you the emote
Work through these checks in order. Each one addresses a different stage of the earn–claim–deliver chain.
- Verify the account link. Confirm that Twitch was linked to the intended Clash Royale account before you watched.
- Verify the stream type. The channel must have been live and marked Drops Enabled. A replay or VOD does not count as qualifying live viewing.
- Check Twitch progress. Open Drops Inventory and confirm that the campaign’s progress reached the required amount.
- Claim the item. Select Claim in Drops & More or Drops Inventory after the requirement is met.
- Allow the delivery window. Most rewards arrive in 24–48 hours, while some can take up to seven days.
- Check campaign and inventory age. If the campaign ended more than seven days ago, its unclaimed reward may no longer be claimable. Rewards also disappear from Drops Inventory after six months.
- Check for a competing campaign. Twitch permits progress on only one campaign at a time, so progress may have been credited to another active Drop.
If all seven checks pass and the stated delivery period has elapsed, retain the campaign name, your Twitch claim status and the linked account details when contacting the appropriate platform support team. Those details identify whether the failure occurred during earning, claiming or delivery.
Choosing the right route for your goal
| If you want to… | Use this route | What to verify first |
|---|---|---|
| Earn through normal progression | Trophy Road | Your current trophy total and the milestone reward shown in game |
| Get a connection bonus | Supercell ID | The connected account; Supercell identifies the Chicken Emote as the hidden Legendary Emote |
| Use points already earned | Supercell ID Rewards | Correct Supercell ID, current catalogue and point expiration dates |
| Watch a creator or esports broadcast | Twitch Drops | Drops Enabled status, campaign requirement, claim deadline and delivery window |
| Redeem a shared promotion | Store Code | Official Store page, exact code and active promotion terms |
| Advance a seasonal track | Pass Royale | At least Arena 2, enough Crowns and an available Claim button |
| Open a chest offer | Lucky Chest or another disclosed offer | Current chest level, contents and odds for that exact promotion |
Practical rules for avoiding lost rewards
- Connect accounts before watching or completing a promotion, not after.
- Claim platform-based rewards as soon as they become available.
- Record the campaign name and end date for limited Twitch events.
- Read the current in-game or Store terms instead of relying on an old code list.
- Keep Supercell ID Rewards points on the account that earned them; transfers are not supported.
- Distinguish a reward that has been earned from one that has been claimed and one that has been delivered.
With those distinctions, “free emote” claims become straightforward to evaluate: identify the official source, complete its specific requirement, claim in the correct interface and observe the route’s expiry or delivery rules.
