Yes—Cozy Builder released with character customization. The developer added the feature after demo players objected to having only four preset characters. However, the official announcement promises a personalized avatar without publishing a control-by-control list, option counts, or save limits. Hair, skin tone, eye color, body sliders, clothing slots, and editing an avatar later are therefore not confirmed by the available official documentation.
Does Cozy Builder have a character creator?
Yes. Character customization is a documented feature of the released PC version of Cozy Builder. In a Steam Community announcement, the development team wrote, “Good news!Cozy Builder will release with Character Customization.” The announcement adds, “You may create an avatar that resonates with you the most!” The missing space in “Good news!Cozy” appears in the original post and is reproduced here exactly.
The official Steam store page lists Cozy Builder as released on October 14, 2026. It describes a vineyard-valley sandbox where you build and decorate homes, explore, harvest produce, and make wine. The customization announcement applies to that released game, not just a future concept or an unreleased roadmap item.

The announcement presents customization as visual personalization while you restore Cozy Vineyard Valley. Nothing in the cited announcement says that choosing one appearance over another changes building speed, crafting, harvesting, wine production, exploration ability, or any other statistic.
