Campanero’s modular trailer range offers three configurations on a shared wheeled base: Pah-Pah for two people, Eck-Oh for two to four, and Char-Lee for two to six. It does not expand one tent in place: the tent and living-space module are unzipped and exchanged. The manufacturer lists Char-Lee at up to six people, but its page says “In het najaar te zien” (“to be seen in autumn”), so immediate delivery is not confirmed.
How does the modular trailer work?
Campanero describes a common trailer base with interchangeable tent and interior living-space configurations. The living space attaches to the base with a continuous zipper; changing configurations means removing one module and fitting another, not unfolding an extension to make the existing tent larger.
Campanero says the modules can be changed without tools or a dealer, and that each listed living-space module fits each Campanero base. Those are manufacturer claims; the available product information does not independently establish setup time, long-term durability, or performance.

Campanero says all three support lengthwise or crosswise sleeping. Sleeping-cabin area, living area and awning area describe different spaces; an awning’s floor area is not additional sleeping capacity. The figures are product specifications, not independent measurements.
Can you change a Pah-Pah into an Eck-Oh or Char-Lee?
The modular concept is intended to let owners exchange living-space configurations on the shared base. Campanero’s modular-system page does not publish a module-only exchange price; it says the amount depends on the selected living space and directs customers to request a calculation. Ask what is included in a conversion quote and confirm that the desired module is available.

What does a Campanero trailer cost?
The manufacturer’s current product pages list indicative starting prices of €13,950 for Pah-Pah, €16,950 for Eck-Oh and €18,950 for Char-Lee, all including VAT. These are starting prices rather than a confirmed price for every configuration. The reviewed Char-Lee page lists a price but does not confirm immediate delivery.

Match capacity to the sleeping arrangement
Use the listed capacity as a starting point, then check the actual cabin and optional sleeping arrangements for your group. A larger awning provides sheltered living space; it does not by itself increase the stated number of sleeping places.

Verify trailer and vehicle limits
The listed weights—320, 370 and 375 kg—include awning and poles, but should not substitute for checking the actual configured trailer’s weight, payload, hitch load, the towing vehicle’s permitted trailer mass, or local legal requirements. Campanero describes Pah-Pah as suitable for EVs and lists a standard 750 kg load rating, with upgrades to 1,000 or 1,300 kg on registration. These are manufacturer statements, not confirmation that a particular electric vehicle can tow it or that a specific configuration is lawful in your jurisdiction.
Confirm what the specifications mean
Campanero lists TenCate KA-10 polycotton fabric at 280 g/m², a stainless-steel 304 frame, YKK zippers and a German chassis. These are published component specifications, not independent comparative durability tests. Ask the manufacturer or dealer about the exact model, configuration, included equipment and delivery timing you are considering.

What is established about the six-person Char-Lee?
Campanero’s Char-Lee page lists capacity up to six, a 5.5 m² living area, an 11.5 m² awning and an indicative starting price of €18,950 including VAT. The same page says “In het najaar te zien,” meaning “to be seen in autumn.” That wording does not confirm whether the model is available for immediate delivery. An earlier Yanko Design article published 30 September 2026 described Char-Lee as a model Campanero was working on; the newer official specifications list the configuration, while leaving delivery status unresolved.
