As an Asmodian, complete “Forgotten Commander”, then accept “Immortal Isle’s Distinct Ecology” from Nivena at Sanctum Outpost Cliff in Altgard. Follow the quest to the Altgard Windstream and ride it to Immortal Isle. The game uses “Immortal Isle” in the quest name and “Immortal Island” in its patch notes; this route is for Asmodians.
What you need before you go
- Faction: Asmodian. The documented quest route is for Asmodians.
- Prerequisite: Complete “Forgotten Commander.”
- Recommended level: 45, as listed on the quest entry. This is a recommendation, not a stated access-level requirement.
- Quest giver: Nivena, at Sanctum Outpost Cliff in Altgard.
The quest database identifies its displayed data as AION 2 Global version 2.0.5.0 and says the entry was last updated October 5, 2026. It is fan-made and not affiliated with NCSOFT. Quest entry: “Immortal Isle’s Distinct Ecology”
How to get to Immortal Isle
- Travel to Altgard and finish “Forgotten Commander.”
- Go to Sanctum Outpost Cliff in Altgard and speak to Nivena. Accept “Immortal Isle’s Distinct Ecology.”
- Follow the quest’s first step to the Altgard Windstream and ride it to Immortal Isle. The quest story describes the Windstream as the only way to reach the island.
- Continue with the quest objective to arrive on the island. A later objective asks you to obtain an Immortal Isle Drana Mutant specimen.
The quest entry names the area and route but does not give a precise Windstream launch coordinate or map marker. Use the quest guidance rather than relying on an unverified coordinate. Quest story and objectives

What if you are Elyos?
Do not follow the Asmodian quest directions as if they applied to Elyos. The quest entry points Elyos players to a separate quest, “Eternal Isle’s Distinct Ecology.” The available entry does not establish its equivalent NPC, prerequisite, or travel route, so those details cannot be confirmed here. Can you place a Kisk after arriving?
Update notes dated February 25, 2026, report that Kisk placement became possible in previously restricted territory areas, including [Asmodian] Immortal Island. This is an arrival-side convenience, not an alternative route to the island. Because later updates may change territory permissions, check the live game if Kisk placement matters to your plans.
