Aftershock’s Cherry Bloom is a custom gaming PC with a miniature cherry blossom tree whose 70 hand-painted flowers physically open as the system warms and return to rest as it cools. Aftershock says the petals use a temperature-reactive titanium alloy, with no motors or lighting effects driving the movement. The exact opening temperature has not been disclosed.
How does the Cherry Bloom PC work?
Aftershock says the 70 individually formed, hand-painted blossoms are made from a temperature-reactive titanium alloy. Heat from the PC causes them to open; as the system cools, they return to their resting position. The manufacturer describes the movement as physical, not motorized or simulated with lighting.
Aftershock’s official Cherry Bloom page presents an animated temperature demonstration and a short build video. These show the intended effect but do not establish a measured activation point or independently tested reliability. Notebookcheck likewise reported that the temperature at which the blossoms begin opening was unclear, so the flowers should not be treated as a precise temperature indicator.
What hardware is in the build?
The current Aftershock showcase page describes a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID OC White Edition, an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D-class processor, a NOVACORE chassis with 270-degree seamless glass, and a custom hardline water-cooling loop.

Launch-era details differ. Aftershock’s ready-to-ship listing, as surfaced in search on October 7, 2026, and coverage published September 23 and 24, 2026, described a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080, 64GB of RAM, and a 2TB Lexar SSD. Because that processor description conflicts with the current showcase page, these should be understood as separate dated configuration claims, not combined into one definitive specification list.
What did Cherry Bloom cost, and where was it available?
September 2026 coverage and the indexed ready-to-ship listing reported a price of AUD $19,995. Notebookcheck reported local-only shipping at that time. The current showcase page does not state a price or shipping terms, so the September listing details may no longer apply; check Aftershock’s current listing for availability and delivery before making a purchase decision.

Is the heat-reactive effect independently verified?
The blossom count, alloy description, and no-motor explanation are claims made by Aftershock. The official animation and build video demonstrate the presentation, while September 2026 reporting corroborates the general heat-reactive effect. The reviewed material does not provide independent measurements of the trigger temperature, durability, acoustics, or gaming performance.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThat distinction matters because Cherry Bloom is both a functional gaming desktop and a bespoke display piece. The product information describes high-end components and elaborate cooling, but no controlled gaming benchmarks establish how its performance compares with other desktops using similar hardware.

What makes Cherry Bloom unusual?
The defining feature is not simply that the PC has decorative blossoms: the tree is designed to change as the machine heats and cools. Aftershock describes the concept on its official page as “70 handcrafted, hand-painted cherry blossoms made from a special titanium alloy that reacts to heat and cooling, bringing the tree inside your PC to life every time you play.”
The result is a showpiece built around a visible physical effect, housed beside powerful gaming components behind a wide glass viewing area. Buyers should weigh that bespoke craftsmanship and visual centerpiece against the unusually high reported launch price, while confirming the current configuration and terms directly with the seller.
