Hostinger’s introductory plans are priced attractively, but the headline monthly rates require paying for 48 months upfront and renew at substantially higher rates. Its AI Builder offers both conversational and drag-and-drop workflows, while published performance results are specific to each reviewer’s test setup—not guarantees for every site.

What Hostinger costs in 2026

Hostinger’s pricing page, as displayed on October 7, 2026, lists these offers for 48-month terms. The monthly figure is the total prepaid plan cost divided by 48; it is not a month-to-month price. Hostinger says plans are paid upfront.

Plan 48-month displayed rate Due upfront Renewal rate Websites and storage Backups
Premium $2.99/month $143.52 $10.99/month Up to 3 websites; 20 GB SSD Weekly
Unlimited $3.99/month $191.52 $16.99/month Unlimited websites; 50 GB NVMe Daily, with data restore
Cloud Startup $7.99/month $383.52 $25.99/month Unlimited websites; 100 GB NVMe Daily and on-demand

These are the amounts shown on Hostinger’s official pricing page on October 7, 2026. Promotions, checkout totals, and plan details may vary by region and change over time, so check the current total and renewal terms before paying.

How to choose a tier

  • Premium: The lowest listed upfront cost, with a three-website limit, 20 GB SSD storage, and weekly backups.
  • Unlimited: More storage, unlimited websites, and daily backups, for a higher initial and renewal price.
  • Cloud Startup: The largest listed storage allocation and on-demand backups, alongside daily backups; it also has the highest cost among these three plans.

Compare the full prepaid bill and renewal price with the site count, storage, and backup schedule you actually need. A lower displayed monthly rate does not mean a smaller initial payment.

What the AI Builder offers

Hostinger describes two ways to create a site: an Agentic mode that uses a conversational workflow and a Manual mode with drag-and-drop editing. Its product page also lists AI writing, SEO assistance, logo creation, templates, and tools for generating online-store materials. Those are vendor-described features, not independent findings. See Hostinger’s AI Builder page for its current feature description.

The hosting plans page also lists a limited, one-time allocation of AI credits for website and app creation. The exact allowance should be checked on the selected plan at checkout because it can change.

Review generated work before publishing

Treat AI output as a draft. Check factual claims, spelling, image rights and suitability, product descriptions, mobile layouts, accessibility, and SEO titles and descriptions. The available feature descriptions do not establish that a generated site is ready to publish without human review.

What published performance tests show

Two reviews provide useful but non-equivalent evidence. Gizmodo’s Florian Gray said the publication bought an Unlimited plan, built an AI Builder test site, and started a second site on WordPress. The review describes speed testing on the WordPress site; its result reflects that plan and setup, not every Hostinger site. Read Gizmodo’s September 30, 2026 review for its test context.

TechRadar reports that it monitored a WordPress test site on Hostinger’s most basic shared plan across multiple locations using Uptime.com. It recorded 99.96% uptime over 10 weeks and also describes measuring Largest Contentful Paint with GTmetrix. That is TechRadar’s result for one test site and period—not an uptime guarantee. Its methods and results are described in TechRadar’s 2026 review.

These reviews did not use the same plan, site, location, or measurement method, so their results should not be combined into a single score or treated as a controlled head-to-head comparison. A site’s theme, content, caching, traffic, visitor location, and the measurement method can all affect performance. The reports describe their own tests; they cannot predict the speed or uptime of a particular site.

Is Hostinger worth it?

It may suit someone who values a low introductory rate, can pay for four years upfront, and finds the listed site limits, storage, backups, and AI workflow appropriate. The decision looks different if you may leave before the term ends or if the renewal price would strain your budget: compare that recurring rate with your expected site needs, not just the promotional monthly figure.

For performance-sensitive work, treat the published reports as evidence about specific test configurations rather than a promise. Your own results will depend on how your site is built and used.
