Choose a Hostinger Reach plan by estimating both how many different people you will contact and how many total messages you will send each month. Before sending, you also need a verified domain; Reach is for marketing email, not a business inbox. The right setup depends on whether you already have a domain, website, and mailbox.

How Reach’s monthly limits work

Reach tracks two separate monthly quotas: unique recipients and total emails. Unique recipients are distinct addresses contacted during the month. Total emails count every message sent across campaigns and automations. Sending three campaigns to the same subscriber uses one unique recipient but three emails. Hostinger says both limits reset on the first day of the next month. See Hostinger’s plan and setup FAQ.

For example, Hostinger says sending a campaign to 100 people and then another to 200 people uses 300 emails. Unique-recipient use depends on how many distinct addresses those campaigns reach. Deleting contacts does not restore unique-recipient capacity already used that month.

Estimate the two numbers separately

  • Unique recipients: estimate the number of distinct people you expect to email during a month.
  • Total emails: multiply your audience by the number of campaigns and automation messages they are likely to receive. A list of 100 people receiving four messages uses about 400 emails.

That estimate helps you decide whether a lower tier is sufficient. Check Reach’s current plan screen for live prices and tier limits: the exact paid thresholds and prices are not established here and can change.

What happens when you reach a limit?

If you hit the total-email limit, you cannot send new one-off campaigns, and active automations may fail. If you hit the unique-recipient limit, Reach blocks messages to additional distinct people; automations aimed at people beyond the limit may stop. Hostinger says upgrading increases both kinds of quota together—you cannot raise only one.

What the free plan includes—and what to verify

Hostinger’s subscription details page, updated one week before October 7, 2026, lists a free plan with 200 emails and 100 unique subscribers per month, one year of free access, and one claim per account. Confirm that offer and its terms in the current plan screen before choosing a tier. See Hostinger’s subscription details.

That same page lists paid-plan additions including higher quotas; monthly AI credits of 10, 20, or 30 depending on tier; removal of the Reach signature; unlimited AI-powered audience segments and subject lines; limited spam-check assistance; Smart Sending; collaborators; welcome automations; delayed email sequences; and ecommerce automations. Availability and limits may change, so compare the live tiers against the functions you will actually use rather than assuming every feature is included at every level.

A practical way to choose

  • Start with your estimated monthly unique recipients and total messages, not list size alone.
  • Consider paid tiers if the free quotas are too small or you need a paid-plan feature such as collaborators, additional automation options, or removal of the Reach signature.
  • Check the plan screen for the current price, both quota limits, AI credits, and the specific automation or ecommerce features included.

Do you need a domain before you start?

You can prepare drafts before connecting a domain, but a verified sending domain is required before you can send campaigns or activate automations. Reach supports one connected domain at a time. Hostinger recommends using a dedicated subdomain, such as mail.yourdomain.com, to keep marketing traffic separate from the root domain’s DNS records and reputation. See the domain connection guide.

Domain authentication is part of setup. For Hostinger domains, the guide says SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are configured automatically, though changes can take a few hours. With an external domain, you first prove ownership by adding a DNS record, then choose the sending domain or subdomain. Authentication is a setup requirement; it does not guarantee that messages will land in recipients’ inboxes.

Connect and prepare your sending domain

  1. In Reach, open Domain settings and choose a Hostinger domain or add an external domain.
  2. Choose whether to send from the root domain or a separate subdomain. A dedicated subdomain is Hostinger’s recommendation for separating marketing traffic.
  3. For an external domain, add the ownership-verification DNS record as instructed. Allow a few hours for DNS changes to take effect.
  4. Set a sender name that matches your brand. If recipients should be able to reply, use an address connected to a real mailbox.
  5. Wait until the domain is verified before sending campaigns or activating automations.

Which setup fits your website and email situation?

Your situation Suitable setup Important detail
No website or domain Hostinger’s FAQ recommends Hosting + Reach. The FAQ says the hosting purchase described there includes a domain for one year and webmail access. Verify current checkout terms and whether that bundle fits your needs.
You own a domain but do not have a site Reach can be used standalone with an external domain. The FAQ says Reach includes the ability to claim one website free for one year for collecting contacts. Verify the offer terms.
You have a Hostinger site Use the available native integration for Hostinger AI Builder, WordPress, or Hostinger eCommerce. Connecting your site for contact collection does not remove the requirement to verify a sending domain.
Your website is hosted elsewhere Use Reach with that site and manage contacts by CSV import or the public API. A Hostinger-hosted site is not required.
You need ordinary one-to-one email Add a separate business mailbox or a hosting package that includes one. Reach does not include webmail or an inbox for everyday correspondence.

The bundle and free-site details above are claims in Hostinger’s FAQ, not universal requirements. If you already own a domain and only need marketing campaigns, the FAQ says Reach can be used standalone; a website or hosting purchase is not mandatory.

How to add contacts and send your first campaign

Hostinger’s onboarding guide orders the initial work as adding contacts, connecting a domain, creating a template, and creating a campaign. You can draft before domain verification, but cannot send until the domain is verified.

  1. Add contacts: enter them individually, import a list, sync contacts from supported Hostinger sites, forms, or ecommerce opt-ins, or manage them through the public API. For a site hosted elsewhere, Hostinger’s FAQ points to CSV import or the API. See the contact guide.
  2. Use contacts appropriately: collect consent before sending marketing messages. Being able to upload an address list does not by itself make those addresses appropriate recipients.
  3. Verify your sending domain: complete the domain setup and allow time for DNS records to take effect.
  4. Create a template: prepare the message layout you will use for the campaign.
  5. Create and send the campaign: select the intended recipients, check the message, and send after the domain is verified. Keep an eye on both monthly quotas as campaigns and automations run.

Does Reach include business email or webmail?

No. Reach manages marketing campaigns, contacts, automations, and analytics; it does not provide a mailbox or webmail access for one-to-one business conversations. If people should be able to reply to your campaign sender address, that address needs an actual mailbox provided separately.

Can you use Reach without a Hostinger website?

Yes. A professional domain is needed for sending, but the site itself does not have to be hosted by Hostinger—or exist at all if your goal is to use Reach standalone. Native integrations listed in Hostinger’s FAQ cover Hostinger AI Builder, WordPress, and Hostinger eCommerce. For an outside website, contacts can be brought in by CSV or managed with the public API.
