In manual mode, choose the control that matches what you want to change: use Blog management for an individual post’s details, Edit blog header for a post’s header appearance, and Edit blog list for a section displaying multiple posts. Save your edits, then update the website to publish them.
Choose the right blog settings panel

These controls have different scopes: changing a post’s settings does not configure the list section, and changing the list does not change an individual post’s metadata. The Hostinger AI Builder manual-mode guide to managing blog settings documents the available controls.
Change an individual post’s settings
- In the editor, expand Blog management on the left and select a post. Alternatively, open the post’s ellipsis menu and select its post settings.
- In the General tab, edit the title, description, URL, author or authors, and publication date. Scheduling is also available in this tab.
- Open Featured image to change the post’s cover image.
- Open Categories to assign the post to one or more categories.
- Save the settings, then update the website to publish the changes.
According to Hostinger’s guide to editing a post’s title and description, those fields are also used as the post’s meta title and meta description.

To change how an individual article’s header appears, select the post header and choose Edit blog header. The editor groups its controls into three tabs:

- Style: Change text colors and size, and show or hide the description, category, author, publication date, or reading time.
- Layout: Set alignment and top or bottom padding.
- Background: Choose a color or image for the header section.
These settings apply to the post header. Other sections below it have their own controls, such as background, anchors, duplication, and moving a section up or down.
Configure a blog list section
Select the blog section on the page and choose Edit blog list. Its settings determine how multiple posts are displayed:

- Layout: Set posts per page, columns, column gap, and top or bottom padding.
- Style: Change text color and choose whether to show the featured image, title, description, category, author, publication date, or reading time.
- Posts: Show only selected posts, with category filtering available to separate groups of posts.
- Background: Set a color or image for the section.
- Search: Enable search for blog posts, choose its left, center, or right position, and adjust its style, colors, border, corner radius, width, and placeholder.
Use categories to organize posts across sections
- Open the settings in the Blog management panel and add a category.
- Open an individual post’s settings and assign it to one or more categories.
- In a blog section’s Edit blog list controls, use category filtering to choose which group of posts that section displays.
Hostinger documents no stated limit on the number of categories and says a post can belong to multiple categories. See its manual-mode guide to categorizing blog posts.

- Open the post’s settings and go to the General tab.
- Enable Schedule post and select a date.
- Save the settings and update the website.
Scheduled posts appear in the Scheduled section of the Blog management panel. Hostinger’s scheduling guide describes this workflow.

Make saved changes visible on the live site
Saving settings in the editor is not the final publishing step: update the website for changes to appear online. If a post still does not show, check that the page has a Blog section. Managing posts does not automatically add a display section to every page. If needed, add one from the Add section menu and update the site again.
