HONOR has published a China national-subsidy transaction price for the WIN 2 gaming phone before its launch: 5,499 yuan for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model. The figure is subsidy-adjusted, not the phone’s confirmed standard retail price, and HONOR has not announced international availability.
What the 5,499-yuan HONOR WIN 2 price includes
The announced 5,499 yuan applies specifically to the 12GB+512GB configuration after China’s national subsidy. It should not be treated as the regular list price: HONOR has not disclosed the unsubsidized price, and prices for the other memory and storage tiers are still unknown.
China’s subsidy is applied to the transaction, so the amount a buyer pays under the eligible program may differ from the eventual standard price or from any export pricing. No currency conversion gives a reliable global launch price until HONOR announces markets and local taxes.

Dual-fan cooling
Dual active fans are intended to move heat away during long gaming sessions. Cooling hardware can help maintain performance, but fan noise, thermal limits, power profiles and the effect of ambient temperature will determine sustained results. HONOR has not released independent thermal or gaming benchmarks with the price announcement.
2K 185Hz screen
The display is specified at 2K resolution and up to 185Hz. A high refresh rate can make supported games and system animations appear smoother, while 2K resolution increases sharpness. Actual game refresh rates depend on each title, the selected graphics mode and the phone’s power-management settings.

10,100mAh battery
The 10,100mAh capacity is unusually large for a smartphone and should provide substantial endurance for gaming and media use. Battery life still depends on brightness, refresh rate, network conditions, game workload and cooling behavior. Charging speed and charger details were not included in the pre-launch price disclosure.
Will the HONOR WIN 2 be sold globally?
There is no confirmed international release, global MSRP or official Amazon listing at this stage. The reported announcement covers China, and the October 21 event is a China launch. Buyers outside China should wait for an official regional announcement rather than assume that an imported Chinese model will include local network bands, software services, warranty support or subsidy eligibility.

What to check before buying an imported WIN 2
- Price basis: confirm whether a seller is quoting the subsidized China transaction amount or the regular export price.
- Configuration: verify that the listing is the 12GB+512GB model if it claims to match 5,499 yuan.
- Software: check language options, Google service support and region-specific firmware policies.
- Networks: compare supported 4G and 5G bands with your carrier.
- Warranty: determine whether service is valid outside mainland China.
- Accessories: HONOR has identified the HONOR Choice Gamepad X5 Lite as compatible with the WIN gaming ecosystem; availability and included accessories depend on the market.
What remains unknown before launch
- The unsubsidized Chinese retail price.
- Prices for the 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB versions.
- Charging wattage, charger contents and detailed camera specifications.
- Dimensions, weight, fan noise and independent sustained-performance testing.
- International launch timing, pricing and warranty coverage.
Until those details arrive, 5,499 yuan is best understood as an early, subsidy-adjusted China price for one specific tier—not a confirmed worldwide price for the HONOR WIN 2 range.
