HONOR has published a two-stage international plan for MagicOS 11: an open beta running from September through November 2026, followed by a stable rollout scheduled between October 2026 and March 2027. The company has not assigned a worldwide release day to individual models, so eligibility does not mean your phone will update immediately.
What HONOR has confirmed
HONOR announced MagicOS 11 on September 15, 2026, at its Global Developer Conference in China. The company describes the software as adding a system-level Agent Harness that coordinates model reasoning, device sensing, planning, tool calls and execution. HONOR also announced cross-brand connectivity with iPhone, Mac and iPad, and said the upcoming Magic9 will ship with MagicOS 11 first.
The global schedule is a delivery window rather than a single launch event. Individual model dates and simultaneous country-by-country availability have not been published. HONOR says users should follow the My HONOR app and regional HONOR announcements for the actual update notification.

The beta and stable lists are not identical. A model appearing in the open-beta list may receive a test build before its production release, while models listed only for the stable phase should not be assumed to have beta access.

When will the HONOR Magic7 get MagicOS 11?
HONOR Magic7 is named in both the global open-beta and stable-rollout schedules. That confirms planned eligibility, but not a particular day. The public plan does not say whether every Magic7 regional variant will enter the beta at the same time, nor when each market will receive the stable build. Check the My HONOR app and your region’s HONOR support announcements rather than relying on the broad window alone.
How to check for the update
- Open the My HONOR app and look for device or software-update notices.
- On the phone, open Settings and use the software-update screen to check for an available build.
- Confirm that the model number and region match the announcement; carrier or market-specific firmware can change timing.
- If no update appears, wait for the staged rollout instead of installing an unofficial package.
What MagicOS 11 is designed to do
HONOR says its Agent Harness is intended to connect the phone’s sensing and planning capabilities with tool calls and execution. In the company’s launch figures, YOYO can handle more than 100 steps in long-running tasks and is designed for more than 1,000 life scenarios. HONOR also cites access to more than 10,000 third-party AI services.

HONOR reports that YOYO has more than 160 million monthly active users and more than 100 million daily activations. These are company-provided usage figures, not independent performance measurements. CEO Li Jian said MagicOS 11 is intended to understand complex intent, remember everyday habits, and combine automatic execution with proactive service.

HONOR’s China community program is a separate track. Its first batch opened a stable “tryout” on September 15, 2026; a second batch opened internal-beta recruitment, with more devices planned for October and November. The China instructions direct participants to Settings > Software update > Upgrade trial and recommend at least 10 GB of free internal storage.
Those China recruitment stages do not establish when an international device will receive the same build. Regional software, regulatory approvals and staged capacity can produce different dates.
Prepare before installing
- Keep at least 10 GB of free internal storage, following HONOR’s published China community guidance.
- Back up important photos, messages and authenticator data before a beta or major system upgrade.
- Install the latest available baseline firmware for your model before checking eligibility.
- Expect some third-party applications to need updates after the move to the Android 17-based environment. HONOR’s community FAQ advises updating affected apps and waiting for developers to release fixes.
- Use Wi-Fi and sufficient battery power, and avoid interrupting an installation once it has started.
What remains unknown
HONOR has not published a day-by-day calendar, guaranteed simultaneous delivery across countries, or a model-specific date for the Magic7 and other listed devices. The October 2026–March 2027 stable period therefore describes the expected rollout span, not a promise that every listed phone will update in October or that all markets will finish at the same time. Regional notices in the My HONOR app remain the authoritative signal for a particular handset.
