Holo4 is H Company’s family of computer-use models, designed to work through graphical interfaces, code execution, and MCP or API tools. H lists two open-weight variants, but their licenses differ: the 27B checkpoint is research-only and non-commercial, while the 35B-A3B checkpoint is Apache 2.0. H also publishes separate OSWorld and OSWorld 2.0 results, which should not be treated as one comparable score.
What is Holo4?
Holo4 is H Company’s family of generalist action models. Rather than limiting an agent to clicking through a screen or making tool calls, H says the model can choose among screen interaction, writing and running code, and MCP or API tools based on what a task requires. H describes its intended environments as desktops, the web, Android, code sandboxes, and business APIs.
“Single” refers to a model family that can use multiple interaction modes; it does not mean a complete deployment works without a runtime, permissions, a task harness, or environment setup. The specific integration requirements depend on where and how it is deployed.
Can Holo4 use a computer and call APIs?
Yes. H’s release says: “Holo4 clicks and types on a screen, writes and runs its own code, and calls MCP or API tools.” In practice, these are alternative or complementary ways to act: a graphical interface may be necessary when an app offers no usable API, code may help with a task that benefits from execution, and an available tool interface may be the more direct route.

That capability description is not a guarantee that Holo4 will reliably complete every real-world workflow. Outcomes will depend on the task, connected tools, permissions, software environment, and the system used to run the model.
Which Holo4 model should you choose?
H lists two variants. The main practical distinction is not just size: the models use different architectures and have different weight licenses.

These details and catalog scores are listed on H Company’s model page (accessed October 7, 2026). Choose based on the intended use and licensing needs, not on parameter count or a single benchmark figure alone. H’s page also lists checkpoint formats, but the available information does not establish hardware requirements or how either checkpoint will perform in a particular deployment.

H lists the 35B-A3B weights under Apache 2.0. The 27B weights are marked research-only and non-commercial, so do not assume that checkpoint permits commercial use. Review the applicable license terms for your intended use before deploying or redistributing either model.

If you are deciding between API access and checkpoints
H lists API access for both variants, as well as weight availability. API access is described as a paid tier with higher rate limits. Using an API and running an open checkpoint are different routes; the cited model page does not establish the infrastructure, cost, or operational effort required for a particular self-hosted setup.
How should you interpret Holo4’s benchmark scores?
H publishes scores under two labels. Its model catalog reports OSWorld scores of 85.2% for Holo4 27B and 80.8% for Holo4 35B-A3B. Separately, H’s September 28, 2026 release reports OSWorld 2.0 long-workflow scores of 61.7% and 30.9%, respectively. These are distinct reported evaluations, not interchangeable versions of one result.

The same release gives Opus 5.5 an OSWorld 2.0 score of 81.8%. That figure is included here as reported by H; it should not be compared with the catalog’s OSWorld figures as though all scores came from an identical setup. Benchmark labels and evaluation conditions matter, and the cited material does not establish independent replication.

H says benchmark trajectories can be replayed in a viewer or downloaded. Reviewing those action sequences can show how a model approached evaluated tasks, but it does not by itself prove that another team can reproduce the results or that the model will succeed in a reader’s own software environment. How does H say it built Holo4?
H says it used supervised and reinforcement learning across a large set of environments and tasks, including tasks generated by its Agentic Task Factory. The training approach is intended to support different action modes within a workflow: interacting with a screen, executing code, or using MCP/API tools where those interfaces are available.
This describes H’s training and design account; it is not an independent evaluation of the model’s generality. The published results and replayable trajectories offer specific evidence to inspect, while performance on untested tasks remains dependent on the model and deployment environment.
