Holafly Ultra is the closest verified match for an all-in-one travel eSIM with unlimited data, luggage assistance and health-support features. Holafly says the plan provides unlimited data at up to 5G speed in more than 160 destinations, plus a local phone number, unlimited hotspot sharing, flight-claim handling, luggage protection and 24/7 doctor chat.
There is an important limitation behind the phrase “track your luggage”: the eSIM does not contain a GPS or Bluetooth locator. It can help you handle a lost, delayed or damaged-bag claim; a separate tracker tag is what shows a suitcase’s physical location.
What Holafly Ultra includes
Holafly’s current product page describes Ultra as a monthly travel plan combining connectivity with assistance services. The company’s wording is “Stay connected, protected, & supported wherever you go.” The core connectivity and support features listed by Holafly are:
- Unlimited mobile data, advertised at up to 5G speed in 160+ destinations.
- A local phone number.
- Unlimited hotspot sharing.
- Flight-claim handling and luggage protection for lost, delayed or damaged luggage.
- 24/7 doctor chat.
- Mental-wellbeing support.
- Nutrition and training features.
Holafly reports that more than 25 million eSIMs have been sold. That is a vendor-reported figure, not an independently audited user count. Destination coverage, network technology and partner benefits can change, so check the live plan terms for your departure and arrival countries before paying.

How much does it cost?
Holafly’s current page lists monthly pricing as shown below. Prices are volatile and should be verified at checkout; the figures are not a guaranteed long-term rate.
| Plan | Price listed by Holafly | Connectivity information | Bundled assistance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unlimited | €59.95 per month | Holafly lists unlimited travel data plans; the supplied product details do not establish every Ultra benefit for this tier. | Not stated in the supplied product details. |
| Ultra | €84.90 per month | Unlimited data, up to 5G, in 160+ destinations; local number and unlimited hotspot sharing listed by Holafly. | Flight-claim handling, luggage protection, 24/7 doctor chat, mental-wellbeing support, and nutrition/training features. |
Before purchase, confirm whether your destination is included, whether the quoted amount renews automatically, what refund and eligibility rules apply, and which support languages and hours are available. Public information does not establish independent speed testing or a universal fair-use threshold, so “unlimited” should not be treated as a promise of identical performance everywhere.

An eSIM cannot show where your suitcase is
Luggage protection and luggage tracking solve different problems:
- Protection and claims: Holafly describes assistance with flight claims and protection for luggage that is lost, delayed or damaged. This can help with the reporting and claims process.
- Live location: A location is supplied by a separate Bluetooth or GPS tracker, not by the cellular eSIM profile. The eSIM itself has no suitcase sensor or radio beacon.
For physical location, a Bluetooth luggage tag such as NOBL Air+ is a separate device that pairs with compatible luggage and an app. A Bluetooth tracker normally depends on nearby phones or a participating device network, while a GPS tracker generally needs its own power source and connectivity subscription. Airlines can impose rules on batteries and the use of transmitting devices, and IATA’s 2023 baggage-tracker guidance notes passenger-awareness and communication challenges during air travel. Check your airline’s current requirements before packing any tracker.

Practical setup for a trip
- Install the travel eSIM and confirm that mobile data is assigned to it when you land.
- Keep your primary SIM available for calls or two-factor authentication only if your handset and carrier support that arrangement.
- Register your bag with the airline and save claim references; the eSIM’s connectivity can make that process easier at an airport.
- Pair a charged physical tracker with its manufacturer’s app, record its identifier, and place it where baggage handlers are unlikely to remove it.
- Test both the eSIM data connection and the tracker before leaving home.
What “health support” means
Ultra’s health component is a support layer rather than a medical-monitoring system. Holafly lists 24/7 doctor chat, mental-wellbeing support and nutrition/training tools. Those features may be useful for routine questions or travel wellbeing, but they should not be presented as emergency care, continuous vital-sign monitoring or a clinical diagnosis unless the current service terms explicitly say so.
TravelCarePlans is a separate AI travel-health service that markets personalized care plans for international travelers with pre-existing conditions and an AI nursing assistant. It is not the same as Holafly Ultra. Travelers with ongoing conditions should check the service’s geography, clinician involvement, privacy terms and escalation process, and should carry prescribed medicines and their clinician’s emergency instructions. Call local emergency services for urgent symptoms.

Who should consider Ultra?
- Frequent international travelers: The combination of one monthly eSIM, hotspot sharing and a local number can reduce the need to buy separate short-term data plans.
- Travelers worried about disrupted baggage: Claim assistance and protection may be valuable, but they do not replace travel insurance or a tracker.
- People who want remote support: Doctor chat and wellbeing tools can provide a first point of contact when the service is available in the destination.
Ultra is less compelling if you only need a few days of data, already have reliable roaming, require guaranteed medical insurance, or expect a tracker to locate a bag without buying hardware.
Important checks before buying
- Verify that every country on your itinerary appears in the current 160+ destination list.
- Check whether the local number supports the calls, texts or verification codes you need.
- Confirm hotspot rules, supported 5G bands and the network partners used in each country.
- Read the luggage benefit’s eligibility, documentation, claim deadlines and payout limits; “protection” does not automatically mean full replacement value.
- Review the health feature’s availability, language options, exclusions and emergency instructions.
- Confirm the €59.95 Unlimited or €84.90 Ultra monthly price, renewal terms and refund conditions at checkout.
- Keep a separate physical tracker if live location matters, and follow your airline’s battery policy.
Bottom line
Holafly Ultra is the closest verified all-in-one option for unlimited travel data combined with luggage-claim assistance and basic health support. Its eSIM can help you stay online while reporting a baggage problem, but it cannot locate a suitcase. Pair the plan with a suitable Bluetooth or GPS tracker when live location is the priority, and treat both the benefits and the monthly price as terms to recheck before each trip.
