For buyers in India, the Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G is the stronger pick if long software support and faster charging matter most: Samsung promises six years of OS and security updates and lists 25W charging. Choose the HMD Vibe2 5G if you want microSD expansion up to 1TB, a slightly larger screen, or a case and screen protector included in the box. Both have 5G, a 6000mAh battery, an HD+ 120Hz display and an 8MP selfie camera.

Samsung states that the Galaxy F70e will receive six years of OS and security updates. HMD specifies two years of quarterly security updates for the Vibe2, counted from its global launch date. Those promises are not identical: Samsung’s includes OS updates, while HMD’s cited commitment is for security updates. On the published commitments, the F70e is the clearer choice for a buyer who plans to keep a phone for several years.
#1 Best Overall
- Turns heads with its refined lines and cutting-edge design

- Taking selfies has never been easier with the selfie gesture function
- Relax. You've got plenty of time between charges with up to 59 hours
- International version. Unlocked for use with your chosen carrier. Please confirm compatibility with your carrier.
Which phone charges faster, and what do the battery figures mean?
Both manufacturers list a 6000mAh battery, but Samsung lists 25W wired charging compared with 18W for HMD. The wattage difference points to the F70e as the faster-charging option on paper; it does not establish a specific charging time. Actual battery life and charging speed depend on usage, charger, temperature and other conditions, and the listed battery capacity alone cannot predict how long either phone will last between charges.
How do the screens and storage compare?
The Vibe2’s listed 6.75-inch display is marginally larger than the F70e’s 6.7-inch screen. Both are HD+ panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The published figures do not establish a difference in brightness, color accuracy or outdoor readability.
Rank #2
- Fine micro-matte surface enhances the feel and reduces most fingerprints, and the side wave grip design makes it more comfortable and secure to hold.
- 2MM thicker all-round protection, can protect the phone from 2 meters height after a fall intact, above the camera as well as the screen design.
- Adhesive metal finger ring support [you can choose to stick to Case, or separate use], 360 degree rotation + car bracket magnetic suction
- Includes 1* tempered glass screen protector, allowing you to save the cost of purchasing a screen protector
- 100% dedicated open mold design with precise hole positions
Both phones are listed in 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB configurations, making like-for-like comparisons possible. HMD specifically confirms microSD expansion up to 1TB. That is useful if you keep a large local photo, video or music library; do not assume the F70e offers equivalent expansion based on the launch announcement alone.
Do the camera specifications make one phone better?
Both phones have an 8MP front camera and a 50MP main rear camera. Samsung also lists a 2MP depth camera, while HMD describes the Vibe2’s rear setup as an AI dual camera. Those hardware descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos, and megapixel counts are not a substitute for sample images or controlled camera testing. The available manufacturer specifications do not establish a camera-quality winner.
Rank #3
- Absorption of light and sunlight will produce a fluorescent effect in a dark environment.
- Adhesive metal finger ring support [you can choose to stick to Case, or separate use], 360 degree rotation + car bracket magnetic suction
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The back side is a combination of 4 layers: solid PC, ultra-high definition pattern layer, special process layer, clear and scratch-resistant surface layer
- Case is higher than the camera as well as the screen, providing better flat protection
What is the price difference in India?
Prices should be compared for the same RAM/storage configuration and on the same date. HMD’s India product page displayed ₹13,999 and a struck-through MRP of ₹19,999 when checked on 7 October 2026, with 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB options. Stock and displayed offers may vary by location and can change.
Samsung’s 9 February 2026 launch announcement listed net effective introductory prices, including bank cashback, of ₹12,499 for 4GB/128GB and ₹13,999 for 6GB/128GB. It also mentioned an additional ₹500 limited launch offer and said sales would start on 17 February 2026. These are historical launch terms, not a current quote. Because HMD’s displayed price and Samsung’s cashback-dependent launch price are different kinds of figures from different dates, subtracting one from the other would not give a reliable current price difference.
Rank #4
- [360-degree rotatable ring mount] with multi-angle support, it makes watching videos and films both convenient and comfortable, offering an enviable viewing experience.
- 3D multi-directional shape change, depending on different light and angle
- PC hard back panel + soft silicone frame + four corners Shock Airbags
- The frosted surface prevents most fingerprints and the 3D design is stylish
- The ring mount features a magnetic ring, allowing you to use it in your car or for other magnetic applications
Before buying, compare the live price for the matching variant and check whether a displayed reduction depends on a bank card, cashback or another limited offer. Samsung’s cited announcement does not establish today’s retail price, and HMD’s page is not a guarantee of local stock.
Which phone should you buy?
Choose the Galaxy F70e 5G if
- You place the most weight on the longer published software-support commitment.
- You want the higher listed wired-charging wattage.
- You are comparing the same 128GB storage and RAM configuration at a current price that suits your budget.
Choose the HMD Vibe2 5G if
- You want documented microSD support up to 1TB.
- You prefer the marginally larger listed display.
- You value the included case and screen protector, as well as the charger and USB-C cable confirmed in HMD’s box contents.
Neither chipset name establishes which phone performs better in everyday use, and the cited manufacturer material does not provide independent benchmark results. Likewise, the listed camera hardware does not settle photo quality. If those are your deciding factors, seek reliable hands-on testing for the exact India variants rather than treating specifications as proof of a winner.

The F70e’s IP54 rating is a stated durability rating, not a claim that the phone is waterproof. Samsung also cites more than 3,300 service centres in its launch announcement; that is a company-published figure, not an independently verified count.
