A leak reported on October 9, 2026, describes a possible HMD Pulse 2T Pro with a small rear display, a 120 Hz OLED screen and mid-range hardware. None of those details—including the phone’s name—has been confirmed by HMD in the sources reviewed. Here is what the report claims and what remains unknown.
What the leak says about the HMD Pulse 2T Pro
Notebookcheck’s October 9, 2026 report, by Hannes Brecher, attributes images and key hardware details to leaker @smashx_60. It describes the handset as a possible successor to the HMD Pulse Pro, with a flat frame and a large, rectangular rear camera island. These are leak-based claims, not official specifications. Reported display and cameras
- Main screen: 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,080p+ resolution.
- Front camera: 50 MP sensor in a centered punch-hole, with an under-display fingerprint reader also reported.
- Rear cameras: 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus an 8 MP ultrawide camera.
- Secondary rear display: A small screen HMD may call “Emo-LED,” reportedly intended to show incoming notifications.
The report doubts the rear display would be large or sharp enough to work well as a selfie-camera viewfinder. Its claimed notification role is the clearest described use; broader functions have not been established.

Reported processor, memory and battery
- Processor: MediaTek Helio G100, which Notebookcheck says does not include a 5G modem.
- Memory and storage: One reported configuration has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage; other variants are unknown.
- Battery and charging: 6,000 mAh battery and USB-C charging at up to 33 W.
- Durability and colors: IP64 protection and Temper Blue, Titanium and Orbit Green color options.
Every item in these lists comes from the leak report and could change or prove inaccurate. No independent testing or final product specification is available in the sources reviewed.

Has HMD confirmed the phone?
No confirmation appears in the official HMD material reviewed. HMD’s March 1, 2026 strategy announcement discusses the company’s direction for that year and says further details on availability, partnerships and market expansion would follow during 2026. It does not name the Pulse 2T Pro. That establishes only that this particular release does not confirm the handset—not that HMD has made no announcement elsewhere. HMD’s 2026 announcement

What is still unknown
- Whether HMD will release a phone called the Pulse 2T Pro.
- Its price, launch date and markets where it might be sold.
- Whether the reported 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration is the only one.
- Final specifications, software features and the functions of the rear display beyond the reported notification use.
The Notebookcheck article’s approximate-price reference concerns the existing HMD Pulse Pro, not a verified Pulse 2T Pro listing. It should not be treated as a price for the rumored phone.
How to read the reported specifications
The leak sketches a mid-range phone whose unusual feature is a small rear notification screen, paired with a high-refresh-rate OLED panel and a 50 MP OIS-equipped main camera. The reported Helio G100, however, lacks a 5G modem according to Notebookcheck. Until HMD publishes product details, these points describe what the leak alleges—not a confirmed device buyers can assess against a final price or availability.
