Hisense launched its UR8S RGB MiniLED TV series in India on 11 August 2026, with a reported starting price of Rs 1,19,990. The launch report lists 55-, 65- and 75-inch models and names Amazon, Flipkart and several offline retailers as sales channels. That is launch information—not confirmation of current stock, pricing or offers.
Hisense UR8S price and availability in India
MySmartPrice reported a starting launch price of Rs 1,19,990 for the Hisense UR8S RGB MiniLED TV series. Its 11 August 2026 launch coverage names Amazon, Flipkart, Satya, Nandilath, MyG, Great Eastern, Patra Electronics and Khosla as sales channels. The report does not establish whether any size is in stock now or what retailers currently charge.
The launch coverage also listed benefits of up to Rs 10,000 cashback, a two-year comprehensive warranty, one free EMI, zero down payment and fixed EMI options. These are launch-period terms, not verified current offers; check validity, exclusions and model eligibility with the seller.
Which UR8S screen sizes are listed?
MySmartPrice’s India launch report lists 55-, 65- and 75-inch models. Hisense India’s product page reviewed for this article is for the 75UR8S, but describes the series as available in 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches. Because the two sources give different lineups, the 85-inch size should not be treated as confirmed for the India launch without checking with Hisense or a retailer.

What features does the India launch coverage report?
MySmartPrice’s launch article attributes these specifications and features to the India launch:
- Native 180Hz refresh rate
- Peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits
- Anti-reflection and glare-free treatment, plus an ambient RGB light sensor
- Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode
- A 2.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos sound system
- VIDAA smart TV software with voice control and smart-home integrations
These are launch-report claims, not independently measured results. Hisense India’s 75UR8S page gives conflicting figures for brightness, resolution and audio, so verify the specifications for the exact screen size and model before buying.

Why the official specifications do not match the launch report
Hisense India’s product page for the 75UR8S describes its resolution as “4K 2840×2160,” lists Mini-LED X backlighting and Quantum Dot Colour, and claims “Up to 10,000nits Peak Brightness.” It also lists 4.2.2 CineStage X Surround, while noting that channel counts differ by screen size. These details do not match the launch report’s brightness and audio figures; the resolution wording also differs. Neither set of numbers should be silently substituted for the other.

The official page warns that product descriptions, pricing, dimensions, availability, specifications and features may change. Since its listing and the launch article conflict, ask the seller to confirm the exact model’s resolution, brightness specification, audio configuration and other features before relying on them.

What RGB MiniLED means
In the broad explanation given in the launch coverage, a conventional MiniLED television uses an LED backlight behind an LCD layer. RGB MiniLED uses separate red, green and blue light sources in the backlight, giving the manufacturer more control over color reproduction. That describes the design approach; it does not by itself establish that a TV will look better in independent testing.
Hisense’s global announcement says its UR8 uses the company’s Chromagic architecture, combining an RGB chip, optical design and color-management system. Hisense claims the global UR8 can cover up to 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut. The company also cites a native 180Hz Game Mode and 2.1.2-channel sound tuned by Devialet. These are manufacturer claims about the global UR8, not independent measurements or proof that every India UR8S size has identical specifications.

What to check before choosing a size
The available launch information is not a hands-on review or a size-by-size specification sheet. Before placing an order, confirm the precise model code and written specifications for the size you want, along with the retailer’s current price, stock, warranty and any active offer. In particular, ask which brightness figure applies to that model: the launch report says up to 3,500 nits, while the Hisense India 75UR8S page says up to 10,000 nits.
