The UK-market Hisense 55U7STUK is a 55-inch ULED MiniLED 4K television with a manufacturer-listed 144 Hz frequency, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and HDMI 2.1 gaming features. Those are specification claims, not proof of picture or gaming performance. Which? lists an independent review for this exact model, but its surfaced page does not reveal enough expert findings to support a verdict on image quality, reflections, sound or usability.
What is the Hisense 55U7STUK?
It is the 55-inch version of Hisense’s U7S ULED MiniLED Smart TV for the UK market. The model code matters: the 55U7STUK is not the separately listed 55U7STUK PRO. Do not assume features or review results for the PRO apply to this television. Hisense describes the 55U7STUK as a 4K TV running VIDAA Smart OS. Hisense’s product specifications identify the screen as 55 inches (139 cm) with a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160.
What do the picture specifications tell you?
Hisense lists a 144 Hz frequency and support for HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Vision Gaming and HDR10+ gaming. The product page also lists Ultra HD upscaling and MEMC. These details describe advertised formats and processing features; they do not establish measured brightness, contrast, local-dimming quality, viewing angles, motion clarity or reflections.

That page therefore does not provide a basis here for a picture-quality score or a claim about how the screen performs in a bright room. Which?’s 55U7STUK listing identifies the model and review, but not enough accessible test detail to settle those questions.

Which gaming features and ports are listed?
Hisense specifies HDMI 2.1 and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) support across its port descriptions, with variable refresh rate (VRR) up to 144 Hz listed for HDMI 3 and HDMI 4. HDMI 3 is also identified as the eARC port. The manufacturer lists input lag of 7 ms or less at a 4K 120 Hz input.
| Port | Hisense-listed features |
|---|---|
| HDMI 1 | HDMI 2.1, ALLM |
| HDMI 2 | HDMI 2.1, ALLM |
| HDMI 3 | HDMI 2.1, eARC, ALLM, VRR up to 144 Hz |
| HDMI 4 | HDMI 2.1, ALLM, VRR up to 144 Hz |
Port capabilities do not guarantee that every console or PC feature will work in every setup. Check the TV manual and your source device’s output requirements for the particular resolution, refresh rate and gaming mode you plan to use. The stated input-lag figure is a manufacturer specification under the stated 4K 120 Hz input condition, not an independent measurement.

What is known about sound and smart features?
Hisense lists a 2 × 10 W + 20 W audio output configuration and Dolby Atmos support. The available accessible review information does not establish how the television sounds in listening tests, so the specification alone cannot answer whether its built-in audio will suit your room or preferences.

What does the available independent review establish?
Which? lists the exact 55U7STUK and UK retailer listings, but the expert review findings are gated in the page surfaced for this article. A retailer listing or the existence of a review is not itself a performance result. There is not enough accessible evidence here to state a tested brightness level, contrast result, reflection score, sound verdict or overall reviewer recommendation.
