Update 1.1 for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival released on Steam on October 15, 2026. Saber Interactive says the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are still waiting for a console patch, described only as “coming soon.” No console release date has been announced.

What Update 1.1 changes

The Steam patch focuses on progression blockers, softlocks, collision errors, loading failures and visual issues rather than adding a new mode or story chapter. Its most important fixes target situations that could prevent a player from continuing.

Progression and softlock fixes

  • Sewer ladder: Fixed the player falling through the floor after climbing the ladder out of the sewers.
  • Charlotte chase: Fixed a collision problem that could stop the chase from finishing.
  • Labyrinth teleport: Fixed levels failing to load in time after Sunny’s pillar teleport, which could make the player fall through the world.
  • Charlotte boss fight: Fixed Charlotte sometimes becoming stuck on a rock ledge.
  • Flooded Room lever: Fixed the lever failing to spawn when a player saved and reloaded during the corpse puzzle.

Visual and animation fixes

  • Fixed the victim disappearing during the knife-pickup cutscene.
  • Fixed a rare bookshelf animation offset.
  • Reduced geometry and lighting pop-in when backtracking through the dungeon, during the Chatterer chase and in a stairwell area.
  • Removed placeholder “Burning House” text visible through a Labyrinth window.

The complete Steam release notes are available from Saber Interactive’s Update 1.1 notes.

Is Update 1.1 available on console?

Not yet, based on the published notes. Steam has the update, while the console versions have no dated rollout. Saber’s release-note introduction tells console players that their patch is “coming soon,” but does not identify a day or platform-specific schedule.

Should you update or wait?

Steam players

Install Update 1.1 when Steam offers it. The corrected sewer, Charlotte, Labyrinth and Flooded Room problems can directly block progress, so players currently encountering one of those issues have a particularly strong reason to update before trying workarounds. If a save was made in a broken state, the notes do not promise that every existing save will be repaired; after updating, reload an earlier save when the affected event still does not resolve.

Console players

There is no dated console build to install yet. If your run is affected by one of the listed blockers, keep a separate save before the problem area and monitor Saber’s official support updates rather than assuming the Steam fixes are already present on your system.

Does the patch require a GPU-driver utility?

Update 1.1 adds a startup notice when the game detects an outdated GPU driver. That is a warning, not a requirement to install a third-party optimizer or maintenance program. On PC, check the driver supplied by your graphics-card manufacturer, restart the game after updating it, and then test whether the warning disappears.

PC requirements to check before troubleshooting

Saber’s FAQ lists these minimum specifications for the Steam version:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit with the 22H2 update or later
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel Core i5-8400
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
  • Storage: 80 GB

An SSD is recommended. Meeting the minimum specification does not guarantee that every visual problem will disappear, but it establishes the baseline Saber publishes for running the game. The full platform and requirements information appears in the official Hellraiser: Revival FAQ.

Game and post-launch context

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival launched on October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Steam. It is a single-player, first-person action-horror survival game. You play Aidan, who uses the Genesis Configuration puzzle box while trying to help Sunny escape the Labyrinth and confronting Pinhead and a cult devoted to the Cenobites.

Saber says it expects to release additional patches for issues discovered after launch, but its FAQ states that it has no plans for future DLC or content updates. That means the current post-launch commitment is bug fixing, not announced expansions or new story content.

Steam editions

Steam lists Standard and Deluxe editions. The Deluxe Edition includes “The Nailer” melee weapon, a Cenobite shotgun skin, a Punisher baseball-bat skin, a Leviathan weapon charm, a digital art book, a digital soundtrack, a digital “Bleeding Hearts” novella and an ’80s horror-movie filter. These are edition extras; Update 1.1 itself is a bug-fix update and does not add those items to the Standard Edition.
