Yes, a PC with a GTX 1660 or Radeon RX Vega 64 can meet Hellraiser: Revival’s official minimum specification, while an RTX 3060 or Radeon RX 6600 XT reaches the recommended graphics tier. The minimum and recommended lists do not guarantee a particular frame rate or resolution. Steam recommends an SSD for both tiers, but does not make one mandatory.
The safest approach is to compare your complete CPU, GPU, memory, operating-system and storage setup with the official rows, then begin with a quality upscaling mode, Medium Lumen and Medium volumetric fog. Turn motion blur off and let shader compilation finish before judging performance.
Official Hellraiser: Revival system requirements
Saber Interactive’s Steam listing gives two PC configurations for Hellraiser: Revival, which is scheduled for release on 8 October 2026. Both rows require a 64-bit processor and operating system, Windows 10 64-bit with the 22H2 update or later, 80 GB of available storage and an SSD recommendation. The recommended row doubles the memory requirement and moves to substantially faster processors and graphics cards.

| Requirement | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 64-bit, version 22H2 or later | Windows 10 64-bit, version 22H2 or later |
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel Core i5-8400 | AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-12400F |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
| Graphics | AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 | AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 |
| Storage | 80 GB available space | 80 GB available space |
| Drive type | SSD recommended; not stated as mandatory | SSD recommended; not stated as mandatory |
The 80 GB figure is free space, not the total capacity of the drive. Leave additional room for Windows, shader caches, updates and saved files rather than filling an 80 GB drive to its limit.

What the minimum row means
The minimum row is a compatibility floor, not a promise of 60 frames per second, a specific resolution or even a fixed quality preset. A system with a GTX 1660 and 8 GB of RAM matches the named graphics and memory requirements, but its actual experience will depend on resolution, drivers, background applications, game patches and the rest of the configuration.
What the recommended row means
The recommended row identifies a stronger target: Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i5-12400F, 16 GB of RAM and either an RX 6600 XT or RTX 3060. It still does not define a guaranteed frame rate or resolution. Treat it as the more comfortable starting point for higher settings, heavier scenes and modern upscaling features, not as a certified 60-FPS specification.
Can your PC run Hellraiser: Revival?
Check every category instead of comparing only the graphics card. A fast GPU cannot compensate for an underpowered processor, insufficient memory or an unsupported operating-system version.
- Operating system: Confirm that Windows is 64-bit and updated to Windows 10 version 22H2 or later. The official listing specifies this edition and version; it does not publish a separate Windows 11 requirement.
- Processor: Compare your CPU with the Ryzen 5 1500X/Core i5-8400 minimum pair or the Ryzen 5 5600X/Core i5-12400F recommended pair. Model names from other generations are not automatically equivalent, so check their actual performance rather than assuming a newer-looking number is faster.
- Memory: Have at least 8 GB for the minimum row and 16 GB for the recommended row. Close browsers, launchers and recording tools if an 8 GB system begins paging heavily.
- Graphics: The named minimum cards are Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB and GeForce GTX 1660. The recommended cards are Radeon RX 6600 XT and GeForce RTX 3060. Check the complete card model, not just a family name such as “RTX 30-series.”
- Storage: Free at least 80 GB before installation. An SSD is recommended for both tiers, while the listing does not state that a hard drive is prohibited.
GTX 1660 owners
A GTX 1660 is explicitly listed at the minimum tier. That means it satisfies the published GPU floor when paired with the required CPU, RAM, Windows version and storage. Start at a sensible resolution with a quality upscaler and Medium lighting and fog rather than assuming the card will sustain a particular frame rate. If performance is inconsistent, reduce the expensive lighting and fog settings before making large texture cuts.

RTX 3060 owners
An RTX 3060 is explicitly listed at the recommended tier. It is the better starting point for higher visual settings and NVIDIA DLSS, but the recommended row still carries no first-party FPS or resolution guarantee. CPU speed, system memory, patch level and the selected DLSS mode can all change the result.
Systems between the two rows
Many PCs will fall between the named configurations. Compare the whole machine and use the free Steam demo as a practical check if it is available in your region. A demo can reveal shader-compilation stutter, storage bottlenecks and CPU limits that a parts list cannot predict. Treat any result from a different resolution, patch or upscaler mode as a test of that setup only, not a universal benchmark.
Do you need an SSD?
No. Steam says an SSD is recommended for both the minimum and recommended configurations, not that it is mandatory. The game may install on a hard drive that has the required free space, but an SSD is the safer choice for faster loading and less pressure from asset streaming. Drive speed does not turn a below-minimum CPU or GPU into a recommended system.

1. Use a quality upscaler first
Choose the option appropriate to your GPU:
| Hardware | Starting mode | When to try the lighter mode |
|---|---|---|
| Supported NVIDIA GPU | DLSS Quality | Use DLSS Balanced at 1440p or 4K if Quality is not fast enough. |
| AMD GPU | FSR 3 Quality | Move to a lower-quality mode only after checking lighting and fog settings. |
| Intel or legacy hardware | XeSS Ultra Quality | Reduce quality cautiously if the frame rate remains unstable. |
Quality modes preserve more detail than immediately lowering the internal resolution. At 1440p or 4K, the guide specifically identifies DLSS Balanced as an option for supported NVIDIA cards. If the image becomes visibly soft or shows distracting reconstruction artifacts, return from Balanced to Quality before cutting more settings.
2. Set Lumen global illumination to Medium
Lumen lighting can be expensive in scenes with complex indirect light. Medium is the independent guide’s recommended starting point. Test a demanding interior or outdoor area rather than an empty corridor, because lighting cost changes with the scene.
3. Set volumetric fog to Medium
Volumetric fog affects the cost of scenes containing dense haze, shafts of light or layered atmosphere. Medium often gives a better performance-to-image-quality trade-off than reducing textures, which can make surfaces look worse without addressing the heaviest lighting work.
4. Disable motion blur
Turn motion blur off if you prefer a clearer image during camera movement. This does not guarantee a large performance increase, but it removes a post-processing effect that many players find distracting and makes it easier to judge whether stutter is actually present.

5. Let shader pre-compilation finish
Allow the game’s shader pre-compilation process to complete before starting a serious session. Interrupting it can leave compilation work for gameplay, producing temporary hitching that looks like a hardware problem. After a driver or game update, the process may need to run again.
A practical setup order
- Update Windows to the required 64-bit 22H2-or-later configuration and install a current graphics driver.
- Confirm the CPU, GPU, RAM and 80 GB free-space requirements as a complete set.
- Install on an SSD when one is available, while remembering that Steam lists it as recommended rather than required.
- Launch the game and wait for shader pre-compilation to finish.
- Select your platform’s quality upscaler: DLSS Quality for supported NVIDIA hardware, FSR 3 Quality for AMD, or XeSS Ultra Quality for Intel and legacy hardware.
- Set Lumen global illumination and volumetric fog to Medium, then disable motion blur.
- Play a demanding section for several minutes and observe consistency, not a single peak number.
- If performance is still uneven, try DLSS Balanced at 1440p or 4K on supported NVIDIA hardware. Otherwise, lower lighting and fog one step at a time before reducing texture quality.
- If the picture becomes too soft, return to Quality upscaling and make only one additional change so you know which setting caused the trade-off.
How to troubleshoot stutter, low FPS and loading problems
Stutter during the first minutes
Check whether shader pre-compilation was interrupted. Restart the process and allow it to finish, then retest the same area. Do not draw a lasting performance conclusion from the first run after a patch or graphics-driver change.
Low performance in foggy or brightly lit scenes
Set volumetric fog and Lumen to Medium if they are higher. These settings target the lighting workload directly. Lowering textures first may free little GPU time while making surfaces less detailed.
Blurry image after an FPS adjustment
Move the upscaler from Balanced back to Quality. If more performance is required, lower Lumen or fog incrementally rather than repeatedly reducing resolution.

Long loads or asset-streaming pauses
Verify that the installation has adequate free space and move it to an SSD if possible. Because Steam recommends an SSD but does not require one, a hard drive can meet the published storage condition while still providing a slower experience.
Memory pressure on an 8 GB PC
Close browsers, overlays, recording applications and other launchers before starting. If Windows continues paging, the machine meets the minimum memory row but not the recommended 16 GB target; reducing settings cannot fully remove that system-level constraint.
Unclear results from online benchmarks
Check the test’s resolution, upscaler mode, graphics driver, game patch, CPU/GPU pairing and settings. A result measured under different conditions cannot establish what every GTX 1660, RTX 3060 or equivalent system will deliver. No first-party table published with the requirements promises a universal FPS figure.

What the requirements do—and do not—promise
The official list establishes hardware and operating-system tiers only. It does not state “30 FPS at 1080p” for minimum hardware or “60 FPS at 1440p” for recommended hardware. Those targets should not be inferred from the component names. Performance will vary with resolution, upscaler mode, driver, patch, CPU/GPU pairing, background load and the particular scene being rendered.
For a purchase or upgrade decision, use the named rows as boundaries: 8 GB and a GTX 1660/RX Vega 64-class card are the published floor; 16 GB and an RTX 3060/RX 6600 XT-class card are the published recommendation. Use the demo, when available, to validate your exact system instead of treating a third-party benchmark as a guarantee.
