The UNISOC T7250 and MediaTek Helio G70 are both 12 nm, octa-core smartphone chipsets built around two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. The G70 lists higher maximum CPU clock speeds, while 91mobiles’ Geekbench 6 listings show higher scores for the T7250. Those database results are not a controlled test of identical phones, so they do not establish which chipset will feel faster in every handset.
How the T7250 and Helio G70 compare on paper
The manufacturers describe similar CPU layouts, but list different clock speeds, graphics processors, memory and storage capabilities, and media features. These are platform specifications, not a guarantee that a phone includes every supported feature.
| Feature | UNISOC T7250 | MediaTek Helio G70 |
|---|---|---|
| Manufacturing process | 12 nm | 12 nm |
| CPU | 2× Cortex-A75 up to 1.8 GHz; 6× Cortex-A55 up to 1.6 GHz | 2× Cortex-A75 up to 2.0 GHz; 6× Cortex-A55 up to 1.7 GHz |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G57, up to 850 MHz | Arm Mali-G52 MC2, up to 820 MHz |
| Memory support | LPDDR4X up to 1866 MHz; dual channel with 16-bit devices | LPDDR4x up to 1800 MHz; up to 8 GB listed |
| Storage support | eMMC 5.1, UFS 2.2/2.1 | eMMC 5.1 |
| Display support | FHD+ at 60 fps or HD+ at 120 fps | Maximum listed resolution 2520 × 1080 |
| Video | 1080p encode and decode at 60 fps | 2K at 30 fps; 1080p at 60 fps encode/playback |
| Cellular | LTE Cat 7 downlink / Cat 13 uplink | LTE Cat 7 downlink / Cat 13 uplink |
| Bluetooth | 5.2 | 5.0 |
Specifications are from the manufacturers’ T7250 and Helio G70 product pages. Phone makers choose the actual display, memory, storage, and other components, so check the handset’s specification sheet rather than assuming it uses the chipset’s maximum support.

CPU clocks: the G70 lists higher maximum frequencies
Both chipsets use the same stated 2+6 arrangement of Cortex-A75 performance cores and Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The Helio G70 lists maxima of 2.0 GHz for its A75 cores and 1.7 GHz for its A55 cores; the T7250 lists 1.8 GHz and 1.6 GHz, respectively. A higher listed clock is one specification, not a direct measure of everyday speed: handset implementation and workload also matter.

GPU specifications do not settle gaming performance
The T7250 lists an Arm Mali-G57 GPU running up to 850 MHz; the G70 lists a Mali-G52 MC2 up to 820 MHz. The model names and maximum clocks alone do not tell you which chip will deliver higher frame rates. The available figures do not provide a controlled graphics test on identical phones, and actual game performance depends on the handset and test conditions.
What the Geekbench 6 listings show
91mobiles’ retrieved benchmark pages report higher Geekbench 6 scores for the T7250:

These are third-party database listings, not results from a documented, same-phone laboratory comparison. The pages do not establish identical devices, software, or thermal conditions. Treat the scores as a point of reference rather than a guarantee of responsiveness, gaming performance, or battery life. See the T7250 benchmark listing and Helio G70 benchmark listing.

The retrieved pages do not establish a directly comparable T7250 AnTuTu result or the same test version and conditions, so that figure cannot support a head-to-head AnTuTu verdict. The T7250 page shows a separate overall performance figure of 381,574; it should not be compared with the G70’s AnTuTu score as if they were matched results.

Memory, storage, display, and connectivity in actual phones
The T7250’s listed platform support includes LPDDR4X memory up to 1866 MHz and eMMC 5.1 or UFS 2.2/2.1 storage. The G70 page lists LPDDR4x up to 1800 MHz, up to 8 GB of memory, and eMMC 5.1 storage. These differences describe what the platform specifications list; they do not tell you which memory capacity or storage type a particular phone actually has.
Display and video capabilities also differ in the manufacturer tables, but the phone maker selects the screen and implements the handset’s camera and media features. Both chips are listed with LTE Cat 7 downlink and Cat 13 uplink; neither of these cited product pages identifies the chipset as 5G. The T7250 page lists Bluetooth 5.2, compared with Bluetooth 5.0 for the G70.

Which chipset should guide your phone choice?
There is no universal winner from these specifications alone. The G70 has higher listed CPU maximum frequencies; the T7250 has higher scores in the retrieved Geekbench 6 listings, along with different listed GPU and memory/storage capabilities. Neither comparison settles the speed or value of a specific phone.
Compare the complete handsets available in your region. Check the fitted RAM and storage type, screen and refresh rate, battery, software support, price, and local availability. 91mobiles lists the realme C100X as a T7250-powered example and the vivo Y22 as a G70-powered example, but those listings do not establish current availability, price, regional configuration, or software support.

UNISOC notes on its product page that “The actual situation may vary slightly depending on the version and test environment.” That qualification is especially relevant when using platform specifications or benchmark listings to predict performance from a particular phone.
