The Exynos 1330 is the newer and more capable platform on paper. It uses Cortex-A78 performance cores, Mali-G68 graphics and an integrated sub-6GHz 5G modem; the Helio G70 pairs older Cortex-A75 cores with Mali-G52 MC2 graphics and 4G. Third-party comparisons also report higher Exynos 1330 scores, but they do not establish controlled tests on equivalent phones. For a buying decision, the complete handset matters as much as its chipset.

Specifications come from the MediaTek Helio G70 product page and Samsung Semiconductor’s Exynos 1330 page. Samsung says its product information may change; the page also states it was no longer available as of July 31, 2025.

Which processor is faster?

The Exynos 1330 has the stronger specification profile: its two performance cores are Cortex-A78 rather than Cortex-A75, and its GPU is a Mali-G68 rather than the G70’s Mali-G52 MC2. The benchmark comparisons below also rank the Exynos 1330 higher. That direction is useful for comparing the platforms, but it does not promise a particular phone’s everyday speed, gaming frame rate or sustained performance.

What the benchmark comparisons report

Two comparison sites publish AnTuTu 10 results, and both show a higher score for the Exynos 1330. CPU-Boss also lists Geekbench 6 results for both processors.

These are figures reported by CPU-Boss and TopCPU; their publication dates are not stated in the surfaced results. Neither source establishes a paired, controlled test using the same phone conditions, and neither specifies a sample count or the tested device models. The G70’s AnTuTu 10 score also differs between the two sites, so treat each figure as that source’s reported result rather than a universal score. Phone cooling, firmware, RAM and benchmark version can affect results.

5G, battery life and gaming: what chip specs can tell you

Network support

The Exynos 1330’s cited specifications include an integrated sub-6GHz 5G modem, while the Helio G70 is a 4G platform. A phone’s actual network compatibility still depends on its regional bands and handset implementation.

Battery life

Samsung describes the Exynos 1330’s 5nm EUV process and low-power design as enabling long battery life. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independent endurance test. Chipset specifications alone do not establish which phone lasts longer; battery capacity, display, software and other handset details also matter.

Gaming performance

The Exynos 1330’s newer CPU cores and Mali-G68 graphics suggest the stronger platform on paper, but the cited comparisons do not provide controlled gaming tests or measured frame rates. Sustained gaming depends on the phone’s cooling and implementation, so benchmark scores alone cannot predict a specific game’s performance.

How to choose between phones using these chips

If you are deciding between two actual phones, compare the whole device rather than choosing by processor name alone. Check:

  • Price and condition: compare the actual offers, including whether each phone is new or used.
  • Memory and storage: handset configurations can differ, affecting multitasking and how much you can keep installed.
  • Sustained performance and heat: look for evidence about the specific phone under extended workloads, not just a chipset score.
  • Display and battery: compare the panel and measured endurance of the handsets.
  • Camera implementation: a processor’s imaging capability does not by itself determine photo quality.
  • Software and security support: check the support offered for each phone model.
  • Local network bands: confirm that the exact regional model supports your carrier’s bands.
