Neither the Helio G37 nor the Helio G35 is a clear, universal performance winner based on the published benchmark evidence. Results vary by test source and tested phone, while MediaTek provides a detailed public specification page for the G35 but no equivalent full G37 sheet in the sources available here. If you are choosing between phones, compare their complete specifications and prices—not just the chipset name.
Helio G37 vs G35: key specifications
MediaTek’s published feature page documents the G35’s CPU, GPU, memory and platform capabilities. The available vendor material does not provide a full specification sheet for the G37, so the table distinguishes verified G35 details from what is established for G37.
| Specification | Helio G37 | Helio G35 |
|---|---|---|
| Official vendor specifications | A full specification sheet was not found in the sources available for this comparison. MediaTek lists the Infinix Hot 30i as a G37-powered phone on its family page. MediaTek | MediaTek publishes a feature page with CPU, GPU and platform details. MediaTek |
| CPU | Not stated in the cited vendor material. | 64-bit, octa-core Arm Cortex-A53, up to 2.3GHz. MediaTek |
| GPU | Not stated in the cited vendor material. | IMG PowerVR GE8320, up to 680MHz. MediaTek |
| Memory and storage support | Not stated in the cited vendor material. | LPDDR3 or LPDDR4x memory; eMMC 5.1 storage. MediaTek |
| Wireless features | Not stated in the cited vendor material. | Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. MediaTek |
| Maximum display resolution | Not stated in the cited vendor material. | 2400 × 1080. MediaTek |
| Video and camera support | Not stated in the cited vendor material. | 1080p video at 30fps; camera configurations up to 25MP or 13MP + 13MP at 30fps. MediaTek |
These are chipset-level capabilities, not a promise that every phone using the G35 implements every option. A handset maker chooses the actual memory, storage, display, cameras and other components.

What G35 HyperEngine does—and does not establish
MediaTek says G35 HyperEngine dynamically manages CPU, GPU and memory based on power, thermal and gameplay factors. That is the manufacturer’s description of the feature; it does not independently establish a particular game’s frame rate, sustained performance or battery life. MediaTek

Helio G37 vs G35 benchmark comparison
The available scores do not produce a consistent ranking. NanoReview’s results lean toward G37 in AnTuTu 11 and Geekbench 6 multi-core, but toward G35 in Geekbench 6 single-core. 91mobiles reports a higher AnTuTu score for G35 and higher Geekbench multi-core for G37. These are separate published reports, not results from one controlled test of otherwise identical phones.
| Source and test | Helio G37 | Helio G35 | How to read it |
|---|---|---|---|
| NanoReview, AnTuTu 11 | 215,798; four submitted tests | 200,794; two submitted tests | G37 is higher in this report, based on a small number of submitted results. NanoReview |
| NanoReview, Geekbench 6 single-core | 198 | 300 | G35 is higher in this reported single-core result. NanoReview |
| NanoReview, Geekbench 6 multi-core | 868 | 843 | G37 is slightly higher in this reported multi-core result. NanoReview |
| 91mobiles, AnTuTu | 138,566 | 203,078 | G35 is higher in this tested-device comparison. 91mobiles |
| 91mobiles, Geekbench | 203 single-core / 904 multi-core | 179 single-core / 976 multi-core | G37 is higher in the reported single-core result; G35 is higher in multi-core. 91mobiles |
NanoReview’s AnTuTu figures are specifically labeled AnTuTu 11; its Geekbench figures are Geekbench 6. 91mobiles associates its results with tested devices, so they should not be treated as a same-device chipset test. The substantial difference between the two sources’ AnTuTu reports is a reason not to average them or treat any one figure as a guaranteed score for a phone.

Which chipset should you choose?
There is not enough consistent, controlled evidence here to declare one chipset faster in every phone or workload. Choose based on the particular handsets available to you and the trade-offs that matter for your use.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems- For everyday responsiveness: Check the phone’s RAM amount, storage type and software as well as its chipset. Those handset-level details are not established by the benchmark comparisons.
- For gaming: Look for credible results for the exact phone and game you care about. The benchmark pages do not establish game-specific frame rates, cooling behavior or sustained performance.
- For display, cameras and connectivity: Compare the exact model’s implemented components. G35’s listed platform support does not mean every G35 phone uses the maximum resolution or camera configuration.
- For value and longevity: Compare price, condition, battery health, software support and regional model variant. A chipset comparison alone cannot settle those factors.
Example G37 phone and model checks
MediaTek’s Helio family page identifies the Infinix Hot 30i as powered by the G37. That establishes it as an example of a G37 phone, not that it is currently available or a recommendation. Confirm the exact regional model and configuration before comparing it with a G35 handset. MediaTek

When evaluating two actual phones, check the full model numbers and compare CPU arrangement, GPU, RAM type and capacity, storage, display resolution and refresh rate, modem and wireless features, cameras, cooling, battery, software support, price and condition. The chipset-level facts and aggregate benchmarks above do not answer all of those phone-specific questions.
