NextNinja announced JJK: Jū Heisōgata Joshi Kōsei Wordless Record on October 14, 2026. The iOS and Android game is an idle RPG based on illustrator neco’s Heavily Armed High School Girls project. Pre-registration is open through the game’s official website and social channels, but NextNinja has not announced a launch date, monetization system, or release plan outside the Japanese campaign.
What kind of game is JJK: Wordless Record?
Wordless Record is an observation-focused, hands-off RPG rather than a confirmed real-time action game. The official announcement presents the player as a cat watching over the girls. Its design combines harsh battles with quieter, restorative moments in everyday life, allowing the characters and their relationships to remain the focus while the game runs in an idle format.
NextNinja describes the project as an idle RPG that lets players experience “severe battles and soothing everyday scenes.” Voice acting is part of the presentation, and an ASMR feature is explicitly included. The announcement does not explain the combat controls, progression systems, resource economy, or how much direct input players will have during battles, so those details should not be assumed from the idle-RPG label alone.

Until NextNinja publishes those details, signing up is the only confirmed way to follow launch information. A pre-registration campaign should not be treated as proof that the game will be available in every region’s app store.
The first three announced characters
The initial cast centers on three first-year students in the Ueno Sector Going-Home Club. Their personalities suggest that Wordless Record will spend as much time on character scenes as on its military-styled battles.

Heavily Armed High School Girls began as neco’s illustration project. Its visual identity pairs school-age characters with heavy military equipment, a contrast that the new game carries into a more intimate format: the player observes the girls from a cat’s viewpoint between and during dangerous encounters.

The franchise already has physical collectibles. MEGAHOBBY’s catalog lists Desktop Army: Heavily Armed High School Girls – Squad #2, giving fans a concrete merchandise line to look for while the mobile game is in development. The listing confirms the product’s existence, but current stock, seller, price and regional availability can change and are not established by the game announcement.
A 2027 anime is also in development
The same franchise is being adapted into a TV anime planned for 2027. The announcement names Masaki Tachibana as director and Natsuko Takahashi as series composer. It does not name a broadcaster or streaming service, so there is no confirmed “where to watch” platform yet.

The anime and Wordless Record are related projects within the same property, but the available information does not say that the mobile game retells the anime, shares its release schedule, or requires viewing the series first.
