Official Steam Community notes dated October 10, 2026 report a fix for menu navigation that could move two positions for one D-pad press. The same notes say that “slippery” directional movement on certain gamepad models remained under investigation. - Close the game normally on the first PC and wait for Steam to finish its Cloud update.
- On the second PC, sign in to the same Steam account and install the same product—the demo save belongs to the demo, while a full-game save will belong to the full game.
- Start the game and allow Steam Cloud to synchronize before creating or selecting a save.
- If Steam reports a conflict, compare the local and Cloud timestamps. Choose the copy that contains the most recent progress rather than clicking through the warning without checking.
Cloud synchronization is not the same as a universal account save. It does not, by itself, transfer a Steam save to Xbox or PlayStation.

Is there cross-save between Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation?

Single-player
Single-player is listed for the full game. Your Steam Cloud question is separate from multiplayer: a solo save can synchronize between Steam devices without proving that progress will follow you to a console.
