Gundam Blitz Order is a newly announced free-to-play idle simulation game for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Bandai Namco announced it on October 15, 2026, describing a game built around auto-battle resource collection, squad development and tactical formations using mobile suits, warships and Mobile Armors from across the Gundam series. It is not released yet: the publisher has announced a network test for November 18–24, 2026, while the full launch date remains unannounced.
What Gundam Blitz Order is
Gundam Blitz Order is designed as an idle, or “放置型,” simulation game for the App Store and Google Play. Its central loop lets your team continue earning enhancement materials through auto-battle. You can then spend those materials to strengthen units and immediately deploy newly obtained units, rather than waiting for a separate campaign or combat cycle.
Bandai Namco’s English announcement summarizes the concept as piloting highly detailed new mobile suits, using new warships and armours, building a unique team and leading it to victory. The game is planned as free-to-play, although the announcement does not disclose purchase mechanics, drop rates, stamina rules or other monetization details.

How the gameplay is expected to work
Automatic battles and upgrades
Auto-battle is the defining feature. While the game is idle, battles are intended to generate enhancement materials automatically. Those materials can be used to level up units together, supporting a progression loop in which players collect resources, improve a roster and return to more difficult content.
#1 Best Overall
- The highest "metal expression" in the history of Gunpla -EXTREME METALLIC COMBINAITON-
- A kit with the most number of linked frame articulation gimmicks in MG History that enables the poses you imagine
- The true value of the Golden Frame is unleashed through gimmicks
- A variety of armaments with numerous gimmicks are included. Paper-crafted runner stand inlcuded to assist in assembly
- The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
Formation-based team building
Teams can combine three broad categories of Gundam units: mobile suits, warships and Mobile Armors. Formation and placement matter because each unit brings abilities, traits and EX skills. The announcement does not yet specify exact squad sizes, role categories, damage formulas or how skills are unlocked, so those details should be treated as pending until the publisher provides game-system documentation or test information.
Planned battle activities
The announced content includes several kinds of play:
Rank #2
- The latest internal frame design features a semi-monocoque structure, letting you experience the process of building a Mobile Suit
- The joint structure, returning to the original design, incorporates a new mechanism where the parts that look like joints bend properly by reinterpreting the movable axis
- The legs, inspired by the close combat MS Gundam that it's known for, use composite frame joints to create a human-like outline even when moved
- Details are intricately carved into parts not visible from the outside, such as joints and the backs of parts. Noticeable mounting holes have been removed, resulting in a seamless, integrated design
- The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
- Boss battles: intense encounters intended to test unit growth and formation choices.
- Escort missions: missions in which your team protects a warship while it travels to a destination.
- Player-versus-player content: competitive battles between player-built teams.
These are planned features, not independently verified hands-on results. Bandai Namco states that the game is still in development and that content may change or end without prior notice.

Platforms and release status
Gundam Blitz Order is planned for iOS and Android through the App Store and Google Play. The October 15 announcement did not give a full release date, launch region list or minimum device specification. The title should therefore be treated as announced rather than available for general play. Device compatibility is being handled through the official game site, so prospective testers should check that information before applying.
Rank #3
- Part of the HG Series
- Bandai's newest "High Grade (HG)" model kit faithfully reproduces the new Gundam's distinctive form
- Loaded with articulation in the torso, hips, and elsewhere for dynamic posability after assembly!
- [Includes]: Weapons (x1 set) Backpack (x1 set) Interchangeable head part Interchangeable hands (x1 set) Stickers Marking stickers
Network test dates and capacity
The official Japanese announcement lists the following schedule. Times are Japan Standard Time (JST):
| Item | Schedule |
|---|---|
| Application period | October 15, 2026, at 12:00 JST through October 26, 2026, at 11:59 JST |
| Network test | November 18, 2026, at 14:00 JST through November 24, 2026, at 13:59 JST |
| Planned capacity | 2,500 participants |
| Supported operating systems | iOS and Android |
The application window is separate from the test itself: applying does not mean immediate access, and participation is limited to the planned 2,500 people. The published notice does not state how participants will be selected, whether access is region-limited, or whether test progress will carry over to launch. Those conditions should be confirmed in the application terms.
Rank #4
- Faithfully recreates the mobile suit’s distinctive form
- The head can be replaced to display either the closed or deployed state
- Articulated joints in the torso, hips, and other areas allow for dynamic action poses
- The backpack features flexible articulation, enabling expressive posing from various angles
- The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
How to apply for the network test
- Open the official Gundam Blitz Order announcement or test-application page during the application window.
- Check the listed iOS or Android compatibility requirements for your device before submitting an application.
- Complete the application form and accept any testing terms, privacy notices or account requirements shown there.
- Keep the contact or account information used for the application available for the result notification and installation instructions.
- If selected, install the test build only through the distribution method specified by Bandai Namco and play during the November 18–24 JST test period.
Because the official notice delegates compatibility details to the game site, do not assume that every recent iPhone, iPad or Android handset will qualify. Storage requirements, supported OS versions and regional availability may be different between the two platforms.
What is still unknown
- The worldwide or regional launch date.
- Whether the network test will be available outside Japan or to all account regions.
- Minimum iOS and Android versions, supported devices and required storage.
- How units are obtained, including any summon, banner or duplicate systems.
- Monetization rates, purchase prices and player-versus-player matchmaking rules.
- Whether test data, currencies or unlocks will transfer to the released game.
These omissions are normal for a first announcement but important for anyone deciding whether to apply. The network test may reveal systems that are changed or removed before launch, since the publisher explicitly warns that development content can change or end without prior notice.
Best Value
- NO GLUE: All of the parts can be easily put together without any glue
- EASY COLOR RECREATION: The one and only technology that enables four colors to be available in one set of parts, which we call it “runner”
- RELIABLE HIGH QUALITY: We strive to use our experience and technology to deliver high-quality products to our users around the world
- The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
What the announcement means for prospective players
Gundam Blitz Order is aimed at players who want a Gundam roster-management game that can progress while they are away from the screen, rather than a title centered on continuous manual action. Its distinctive promise is the combination of idle resource generation with strategic placement of mobile suits, warships and Mobile Armors, plus abilities, traits and EX skills. Bosses, escort scenarios and PvP give that progression loop several announced destinations, but the practical depth of those modes cannot be judged until the test or a fuller release briefing.
For now, the key dates are the October 15–26 application period and the November 18–24 network test. There is no confirmed full release date, so players should regard store listings or social posts that imply a launch day as unconfirmed unless Bandai Namco publishes it directly.
