Yes—a community-modified driver project lists the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti for 32-bit Windows XP. Called Forceware 382.69, it is an unofficial driver built from NVIDIA’s 368.81 Windows XP driver, not software released or supported by NVIDIA. The project reports verifying several core graphics initializations on a GTX 1080 Ti, but its device list does not establish that every card variant or system has been tested.
What Forceware 382.69 is—and what it is not
Forceware 382.69 is the name the maintainer, SupraGSX, gives to a community driver project based on NVIDIA driver 368.81 for Windows XP. The project README identifies its current build as 2026-10-06 and includes source code and rebuilding instructions. Its technical details and compatibility claims are documented in the Forceware 382.69 repository.
This is not an NVIDIA driver release, and NVIDIA does not endorse or support the modification. NVIDIA’s GTX 1080 Ti user guide lists Windows versions such as Windows 10 and Windows 8, but not Windows XP. XP compatibility here comes from the community modification.

The project lists the GTX 1080 Ti among the desktop GPUs added for Windows XP 32-bit. Its README says CUDA, OpenCL, GPU PhysX initialization, and OpenGL display-class initialization fixes were verified on a GTX 1080 Ti. That is meaningful evidence of a working path, but it is not proof that every retail card, motherboard, display, or driver configuration behaves the same way.

The README explicitly cautions that adding device entries to the driver’s INF file is not individual validation of every listed model. Treat compatibility as project-documented support, not a guarantee for a particular board or complete PC build. Tom’s Hardware also advises caution with unofficial drivers; the reviewed sources do not establish that this project has undergone a security audit.

For DisplayPort, the project documents HBR2 and HBR3 handling. It specifically warns that HBR3 support does not mean full DisplayPort 1.4 support for DSC, HDR, or MST. The documentation reviewed does not establish particular resolution or refresh-rate results, so do not assume a specific monitor mode will work simply because HBR3 is listed.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does it support 64-bit Windows XP?
The project README specifically targets 32-bit Windows XP. The available documentation does not establish Windows XP 64-bit support; do not infer it from the driver’s name or its GPU list.
What to check before trying it
- Confirm that the system is running 32-bit Windows XP, the stated target.
- Check the exact GPU and board against the project’s device list, while remembering that an INF entry does not confirm individual validation.
- Review the repository README, source, and rebuilding instructions before installing an unofficial kernel-level driver.
- Plan for troubleshooting: the README records user-reported Code 10 issues behind the suspension of experimental GP107 support.
- Do not assume advanced display features or a particular resolution and refresh rate from the documented HBR3 or HDMI handling alone.
For context, TweakTown reported the project on 2026-10-05, and Tom’s Hardware updated its coverage on 2026-10-04. The project’s own README is the primary reference for its build label, device entries, and documented fixes.
