A Goodyear Zeppelin NT carrying Grand Theft Auto VI Vice City graphics flew south from Ohio on October 12, 2026, giving fans a real-world preview of Rockstar’s expanding Miami-area launch campaign. The aircraft is Wingfoot Three, registered as N3A. Its confirmed flight reached Winston-Salem, North Carolina; a later South Florida appearance was reported as possible, but no public, official itinerary confirms where or when it will land.
What is the GTA VI blimp?
The aircraft is not a conventional advertising balloon. It is Wingfoot Three, a Goodyear Zeppelin NT airship with the tail registration N3A. Photographs showed the Zeppelin in Grand Theft Auto VI and Vice City branding while it traveled south from Wingfoot Lake in Ohio on October 12, 2026.
Ray Ampoloquio of GTA BOOM reported that the airship could be followed on FlightAware under tail N3A. The first documented leg ended at Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, after approximately 343 miles and about 4 hours 21 minutes in the air. The report put its cruising speed at roughly 66 mph. Those figures apply to that Ohio-to-North Carolina leg, not to a complete trip to Florida.

The confirmed route starts in Ohio and reaches Winston-Salem. Airship watchers expected the next repositioning to move toward Pompano Beach or another South Florida location, and separate reports described Florida as a possible destination. However, Rockstar and Goodyear had not published a route, and no report established a confirmed landing site, arrival time or complete schedule.
#1 Best Overall
- This product contains a download code inside the box — no disc is included. Customer shipments will begin arriving November 12 for pre-load; game is playable starting November 19.
- Pre-order to receive the Vintage Vice City Pack.
- Grand Theft Auto VI is a single-player experience.
That distinction matters because “Vice City” is the game’s fictional setting, while Miami, Pompano Beach and South Florida are real campaign locations. Seeing Vice City graphics over Florida would fit the promotion, but it does not by itself prove that the airship has reached a specific airport, beach or event venue.
What is confirmed versus reported

| Aircraft | Wingfoot Three, a Goodyear Zeppelin NT, tail N3A |
| Branding | Grand Theft Auto VI/Vice City graphics were photographed on the airship |

| Public schedule | Not published by Rockstar or Goodyear in the reports available on October 16, 2026 |
How the blimp fits Rockstar’s Miami promotion
The airship is one part of a broader campaign built around the game’s fictional Florida-inspired world. Axios reported a giant “Welcome to Vice City” sign at Miami’s Kaseya Center, branded concession umbrellas on Miami Beach, ten new Wynwood murals and a free Little Haiti block-party partnership.

GamersExtra also reported a “night in Vice City” Miami Heat event planned for November 18, 2026, one day before launch. Its coverage mentioned Dolphins stadium advertising and additional proposed airport and Miami Beach activity, while distinguishing those proposals from activations already reported as taking place. The available reports do not establish that the Zeppelin will appear at any of those events.

When does Grand Theft Auto VI release?
Rockstar’s official product page lists November 19, 2026 as the release date. The page names PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the launch platforms and describes the story as taking place in Vice City and across the state of Leonida. It also provides official pre-order links and displays related merchandise.

- Rule the city streets in a thrilling open-world crime adventure.
- Drive luxury cars, bikes, and police vehicles in epic missions.
- Fight gang wars, escape police chases, and dominate turf battles.
- Explore a massive urban map packed with action and secrets.
- Play offline anytime — no internet required for crime fun!
The reported Miami Heat event on November 18 falls one day before that scheduled launch. A campaign appearance on that date would therefore be launch-week promotion, but the event report does not say that the Zeppelin is part of the program.
How to look for the airship without assuming a sighting
- Check the aircraft identity. Look for Wingfoot Three and tail N3A rather than relying only on the painted logo.
- Verify the flight record. A live or completed FlightAware track can show whether N3A is airborne and its broad routing, but it does not guarantee a public viewing stop.
- Separate confirmed locations from predictions. A report that the airship may head toward Pompano Beach is not confirmation that it landed there.
- Check official announcements. Rockstar or Goodyear would be the authoritative sources for a public appearance, event time or route change.
- Allow for operational changes. Airship routes can change with weather, airport handling and other logistical constraints, so an expected South Florida path may not produce a sighting.
Why the route remains uncertain
Neither Rockstar nor Goodyear had announced a joint route when the aircraft was reported traveling south. The available coverage also did not publish intermediate stops or the remaining schedule after Winston-Salem. Consequently, claims that the blimp definitely reached a named South Florida airport, beach or arena would go beyond the verified information.
Rank #4
The safest conclusion is narrower: a Vice City-branded Zeppelin NT left Ohio, completed a documented flight to North Carolina, and was associated with a possible South Florida repositioning as Rockstar’s November launch promotion expanded across Miami.
