On October 13, 2026, GTA VI is 37 days from its announced November 19 release. Meanwhile, AuraV Enhanced adds path-traced lighting and shadows, ray-traced reflections, and volumetric clouds to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC. It is a GTA V Story Mode mod—not a GTA VI mod—and its free Lite edition does not include every effect offered in the separate Full early-access tier.
What AuraV Enhanced adds to GTA V
AuraV, presented on its creator’s site as a mod made by Kypos and credited to KBase in contemporaneous coverage, changes the lighting and atmosphere in Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced. The creator describes a replacement sky with volumetric clouds and a physically based atmosphere, plus path-traced lighting that lets light bounce between surfaces. Streetlights and glowing signs cast ray-traced shadows, and ray-traced reflections are processed with NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction. The creator’s feature page is the source for the tier breakdown.

Requirements and supported modes
The creator lists Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced for PC, Windows 10 or 11, and an NVIDIA RTX graphics card for path tracing. The page does not name a minimum RTX model or provide frame-rate benchmarks, recommended GPU tiers, or measured performance impact. Those omissions mean there is no evidence here to predict how well the mod will run on a particular RTX card.
- Game edition: GTA V Enhanced on PC.
- Operating system: Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- Path tracing: NVIDIA RTX graphics card required, with no minimum model specified.
- Game mode: Story Mode only; the creator says AuraV does not work in GTA Online.
- Loader: No separate ASI loader is needed; AuraV includes its own.
The creator says AuraV can coexist with ReShade and RenoDX, but neither is supported. The official page also states that the mod is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Check the creator’s page for current requirements and access details.

How to install and open AuraV’s settings
- Download AuraV Lite from the creator’s page. It is listed as free and does not require an account.
- Unzip the files next to
GTA5_Enhanced.exein the game’s installation folder. - Start GTA V Enhanced and enter Story Mode.
- Press F10 to open AuraV’s in-game settings.
If the mod does not appear, check that the files are beside the Enhanced game executable and that you launched Story Mode. The creator’s instructions do not call for a separate ASI loader. For compatibility issues involving ReShade or RenoDX, note that coexistence is described but support is not offered.
How the GTA VI countdown fits
Rockstar announced that Grand Theft Auto VI would release on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Its customer-support page, last updated August 18, 2026, lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar also says the physical version’s box contains a download code rather than a disc. The “just over one month away” framing is accurate on October 13, 2026: November 19 falls 37 calendar days later. That countdown is date-specific and will quickly become stale. AuraV is a way to alter GTA V Enhanced while waiting; it does not add GTA VI content or change Rockstar’s release schedule.
