Rockstar has previewed six GTA 6 radio stations: Cocoteo, Back Country, Afro Bank FM, The Chamber, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics. Their announced styles cover modern Latin, renegade country, Amapiano and African classics, metal, pop, and regional rap and hip-hop classics. Rockstar has also named on-air personalities for every preview.
Those six are not confirmed to be the complete radio lineup. On its GTA VI music page, Rockstar says the game will span stations from Classic Rock to Talk Radio and calls its radio-and-podcast selection the biggest and widest-ranging yet, but it has not published a full station count or complete playlists. The comparison below separates what is confirmed from what remains unknown.

What radio stations are in GTA 6?
The following six stations are the stations Rockstar has specifically previewed on its GTA VI music page. The page was identified in Rockstar’s site listings as an October 8, 2026 announcement and was accessed October 13, 2026. Each row uses Rockstar’s own genre wording and presenter names; promotional phrases are kept separate from technical genre classifications.

| Cocoteo | Modern Latin | El Martillo and La Gata | Contemporary Latin-focused programming; Rockstar’s Spanish tagline is “El party que nunca se apaga.” |
| Back Country | Renegade country | MW and Delta Dawne | Country framed around a rural Leonida identity; Rockstar calls it airboat-ready. |
| Afro Bank FM | Amapiano, African classics, 3-step and more | Burna and Palmsy | The broadest explicitly cross-regional and dance-oriented description among the six previews. |
| The Chamber | Metal | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom | The confirmed heavy-music station, promoted as crushing metal. |
| Flash FM | Pop | Robyn and Alex | A returning Vice City institution built around pop and “guaranteed grooves.” |
| Dirty South Classics | Regional rap and hip-hop classics | Trick and Trina | A Southern rap and hip-hop history focus rather than a general contemporary-rap label. |
Terms such as “airboat-ready,” “crushing,” and “guaranteed grooves” are promotional flavor. They communicate tone, not a formal subgenre, tempo range, track count or audio specification.

Station-by-station guide to GTA 6’s confirmed previews
Cocoteo: modern Latin with a nonstop-party identity
Cocoteo is the clearest contemporary Latin entry in the announced group. “Modern Latin” is intentionally broad: it identifies the station’s cultural and current-music lane without claiming a particular split between reggaeton, Latin pop, regional styles or other subgenres. El Martillo and La Gata are the named voices attached to the station. Rockstar’s Spanish line, “El party que nunca se apaga,” establishes an always-on celebration as the station’s personality, but it does not reveal individual songs or how much airtime each Latin style receives.
Back Country: renegade country for Leonida’s rural side
Back Country is described as “renegade country,” giving it a more defiant identity than a neutral country label. MW and Delta Dawne are the announced presenters. Rockstar’s “airboat-ready” wording connects the station to the game’s rural Leonida setting and outdoor culture. It should not be read as proof that every track is outlaw country, swamp music or a specific regional country subgenre; Rockstar has supplied the umbrella description, not a playlist taxonomy.
Afro Bank FM: the most explicitly wide-ranging dance preview
Afro Bank FM combines Amapiano, African classics, 3-step and “more,” according to Rockstar. That makes it the only preview whose description names multiple distinct lanes and explicitly signals a cross-regional scope. Amapiano and 3-step also point toward dance-oriented programming, while “African classics” indicates historical depth rather than an exclusively new-release format. Burna and Palmsy are the named on-air personalities. Because “and more” is open-ended, the description cannot be used to calculate how many styles or songs the station contains.

The Chamber is the straightforward heavy-music choice: Rockstar labels it metal and introduces DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. The phrase “crushing metal” communicates an aggressive presentation but does not identify subgenres such as thrash, death, black, doom or metalcore. No song list, era breakdown or percentage of classic versus current material has been published, so listeners should treat the station as a confirmed metal destination rather than a precisely mapped metal archive.

Flash FM: a pop-focused Vice City institution
Flash FM returns as a Vice City institution, with Robyn and Alex named as its presenters. Rockstar characterizes the station as pop with “guaranteed grooves.” That establishes a broad pop center and a familiar Vice City identity, but it does not establish whether the playlist leans toward a particular decade, dance-pop branch or balance of established and newer artists. The station name and host information are confirmed; detailed programming is not.
Dirty South Classics: regional rap and hip-hop history
Dirty South Classics is dedicated to regional rap and hip-hop classics, hosted by Trick and Trina. The regional qualifier matters: Rockstar is pointing to Southern rap history rather than promising an all-purpose hip-hop station. “Classics” also describes the station’s historical orientation, but without dates or a track list it does not define a cutoff year, a specific city focus or the number of tracks from any one era.
How the six stations compare by genre and track style
The most reliable comparison is the level of detail Rockstar chose to disclose. Five previews use a single broad identity—modern Latin, renegade country, metal, pop, or regional rap and hip-hop classics—while Afro Bank FM names three styles before adding “and more.” That makes Afro Bank FM the most explicitly varied in its published description, but it does not prove that it has the largest playlist or the greatest variety in the finished game.

Rockstar has not supplied enough information to rank the six by track count, airtime, musical variety or “best” station. Any such ranking would be speculation until complete playlists or in-game documentation are released.

Who are the GTA 6 radio DJs?
Every preview currently has named on-air talent:
- Cocoteo: El Martillo and La Gata.
- Back Country: MW and Delta Dawne.
- Afro Bank FM: Burna and Palmsy.
- The Chamber: DJ Kerry and DJ Tom.
- Flash FM: Robyn and Alex.
- Dirty South Classics: Trick and Trina.
These are the presenters Rockstar has attached to the six previews, not a confirmed list of every DJ or host in GTA VI. Rockstar’s broader radio-and-podcast statement indicates that additional stations and spoken programming are expected, but no complete presenter roster has been disclosed in the material available.
Are these all the radio stations in GTA 6?
No complete roster has been published. Rockstar says GTA VI will include stations dedicated to “everything from Classic Rock to Talk Radio” and describes the overall selection of in-game radio and podcasts as “the biggest and widest-ranging selection” yet. That is Rockstar’s promotional characterization, not a disclosed station count.
The practical distinction is important: six station previews are confirmed, while the broader lineup remains incomplete in public information. Classic Rock and Talk Radio are specifically mentioned as parts of the range, but Rockstar has not identified every station occupying that range, named all hosts, or shown how the additional stations connect to the six previews.
Does Rockstar provide complete GTA 6 radio playlists?
Not on the preview page. Rockstar invites readers to preview hand-picked stations, but the accessible page text does not provide full station track lists. The short descriptions are therefore useful for identifying a station’s intended lane, not for reconstructing its soundtrack.
Do not infer a station’s complete sound from an artist associated with an unrelated announcement, an album single, or a genre label alone. A confirmed station style tells you the programming category Rockstar is emphasizing; it does not confirm any particular song, artist, release year, rotation frequency or amount of airtime.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is GTA VI: The Album the same as the in-game radio soundtrack?
No. Rockstar presents Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album as a separate product containing 34 original tracks. Its album page lists selected singles and links to vinyl and CD preorder destinations. Those album details are not evidence that the songs appear on Cocoteo, Flash FM or any other in-game radio station.
| Selected album track | Artists credited by Rockstar |
|---|---|
| “That’s It” | Yung Lean, featuring Future and Metro Boomin |
| “RHYNO” | Travis Scott |
| “Sexy Magic” | CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Pink Pantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy |
| “Last Thing You Need” | Morgan Wallen |
| “Suzuki” | Fuerza Regida |
| “Macacoa 2000” | Rauw Alejandro |
| “Don’t Chart” | Cardi B |
| “Bright Lights, Big City” | Keith Richards |
Rockstar’s page says the album is “Coming November 19.” Because that date is time-sensitive and the page does not establish a year in the quoted wording, check the current album listing before relying on the release timing. The announced total is 34 original tracks; only eight selected singles are named in the page material summarized here.

Your first choice can be based on the published style labels, without assuming anything about unannounced playlists:
- Choose Cocoteo for contemporary Latin framing.
- Choose Back Country for renegade country and rural-Leonida atmosphere.
- Choose Afro Bank FM if you want the preview with the widest explicitly named mix of African and dance styles.
- Choose The Chamber for metal.
- Choose Flash FM for broad pop and the returning Vice City identity.
- Choose Dirty South Classics for Southern rap and hip-hop classics.
These are informed starting points, not claims about which station has more songs, longer rotations or better variety. Rockstar has not released the evidence needed for those comparisons.
What remains unconfirmed
- The total number of GTA VI radio stations and podcasts.
- The full DJ and host roster beyond the six previews.
- Complete station playlists, song counts and rotation rules.
- Whether any of the eight named album singles appears on a specific in-game station.
- The balance of classic, contemporary and original music within each preview.
- Genre subcategories for stations described with broad labels such as pop, metal or modern Latin.
As additional official station announcements appear, these are the details that will turn the current preview comparison into a complete radio guide. For now, the six named previews are the firmest station-level information Rockstar has published.
