Has Rockstar released the GTA 6 map? Not as a readable, standalone full-map image. What Rockstar has confirmed is a broad setting— the state of Leonida, including Vice City—while secondary reporting says a physical Leonida map poster is included with the Goodtime State–Vice City Collection. That keeps map material central to GTA VI’s rollout, but it does not give players an official downloadable map to study yet.
What Rockstar has confirmed about GTA 6’s world
Rockstar’s official GTA VI presentation places the story in Leonida, a fictional state whose best-known city is Vice City. The company describes the setting as extending beyond the city’s neon streets, making the game’s geography broader than a single urban map. Rockstar’s “Only in Leonida” material introduces destinations, characters and environments across the state.

The official rollout currently identifies six headline regions in coverage of the game’s setting:

- Vice City, the major urban centre.
- Leonida Keys, an island-focused area.
- Grassrivers, associated with wetlands and rural landscapes.
- Port Gellhorn, a separate coastal or industrial destination.
- Ambrosia, another named Leonida region.
- Mount Kalaga, the state’s mountainous area.
These names establish that Rockstar is presenting Leonida as a collection of distinct places. They do not, by themselves, confirm every road, boundary, settlement or travel route that will appear in the finished game.

Why there is still no confirmed full map to inspect
The available official material names and depicts locations, but it has not supplied a readable standalone image of the complete GTA VI world. No reliable official figure for the game’s total map area has been established either. Fan estimates should therefore not be presented as Rockstar measurements.
A trailer or screenshot can prove that a landmark, building or landscape exists in promotional footage. It cannot prove the landmark’s final coordinates, its distance from another location or whether the surrounding roads will remain unchanged at launch. Those details may change during development.

Community mapping projects are valuable for visualising scattered clues, especially when official materials reveal places gradually. Their own methodology pages caution that using an official place-name does not make a fan-drawn boundary official, and that identifying a building does not establish its final coordinates. Treat these maps as hypotheses, not leaks authenticated by Rockstar.

Will GTA 6 have a full map poster?
Secondary reporting says the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection includes a souvenir poster with a full Leonida map printed on its reverse. That would continue Rockstar’s long-running habit of making the game world tangible through physical map material.
The poster detail should remain attributed to that reporting until the live collection listing confirms the contents. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page links to the Vice City Collection, but the existence of a reported poster is not the same as Rockstar publishing a freely downloadable, high-resolution map. Check the current product page for the exact package, format, price and availability before buying or describing it as a confirmed inclusion.

How the map tradition may continue
Earlier Grand Theft Auto releases made printed maps part of the ownership experience. For GTA VI, the reported poster could serve a similar role even if Rockstar withholds a clean digital map before launch. A physical reverse-side print can show the overall shape of Leonida while preserving discovery in the game itself.

Rockstar is revealing the world through named regions, promotional scenes and collection merchandise rather than one definitive diagram. Fans can compare those pieces, but the map’s authoritative version will not exist until Rockstar publishes it or the released game establishes it directly.

Release details that affect map expectations
Rockstar’s official page currently lists November 19, 2026 as the release date and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as the platforms. These details can change, so verify the live listing close to launch. Until release, screenshots, trailers and merchandise provide partial evidence rather than a guaranteed final atlas of Leonida.
What to check when you find a “GTA 6 map” online
- Look for a direct Rockstar publication or an item explicitly included in a current Rockstar product listing.
- Check whether the map labels its roads and borders as confirmed, inferred or speculative.
- Separate locations Rockstar has named from positions a community has guessed.
- Ignore precise area figures unless Rockstar publishes them; no reliable official total has been established.
- Record the date and trailer or screenshot used, because promotional details can change before release.
The practical answer is therefore cautious: GTA VI clearly has a map-oriented presentation, and a physical Leonida poster has been reported for a special collection. Rockstar has not yet provided a readable standalone full map that the public can treat as definitive.
