To fuse chickens in Grow a Chicken Fighter, open Flock, choose a chicken, select Fuse, add a second chicken, then review the locks, result preview and displayed cost before confirming. Decide first which chicken or trait matters most: fusion consumes valuable chickens, and the game does not publish a complete formula for every outcome.
What fusion does—and what is not guaranteed
Roblox describes the feature as “FUSE two chickens into a mutated monster.” It sits within the game’s hatch, PIT, TOWER and rebirth progression loop. The official experience description does not explain exact inheritance rules or stat calculations (Roblox experience page).
Secondary guides report that fusion combines two chickens and that traits can be locked, but the complete outcome formula is not published. Do not assume an unlocked ability, appearance or stat will transfer as hoped, or that every fusion improves every stat. Treat the current in-game preview as the best available indication before committing; a community wiki likewise notes that exact outcomes are unconfirmed (community fusion guide).

- Choose your goal. Decide what the resulting chicken is meant to do, and identify the chicken or trait you most want to retain.
- Open Flock. Select the chicken you intend to use as the base, then choose Fuse.
- Add the second chicken. Select the donor chicken in the fusion panel. A Pro Game Guides walkthrough says chickens assigned to the Tower or central PIT cannot be fused and must be in the coop or inventory; if the interface has changed, follow the game’s current eligibility message (Pro Game Guides fusion guide).
- Set the locks. Use the available Fuse Locks on the traits you want to preserve. Check each selected lock in the panel rather than relying on memory.
- Review before confirming. Verify both selected chickens, the locked traits, the displayed result preview and the cost. Confirm only if the preview and cost fit your plan.
These steps reflect guides published or updated in August 2026, so the live game interface should take precedence if labels or mechanics change (Beebom guide; Pro Game Guides).

Choose locks for the result you want
Guides report two free Fuse Locks, with additional locks available for Robux. Reported lock targets include skill or ability, level, egg-laying trait, color, hat, mask and feet. Because the free locks are limited, spend them on the features that matter to your goal; extra paid locks are optional, not a prerequisite for fusing (Beebom guide; Pro Game Guides).
- Tower or PIT combat: Prioritize the gameplay-critical skill or ability you want the chicken to keep.
- Egg production: An egg-laying trait may matter more than a combat feature.
- Appearance: Lock color or a cosmetic such as a hat, mask or feet only if that look is your actual goal.
These are goal-based priorities, not guarantees about the final result. Guides list example combinations for bosses, PIT combat or farming, economy, passive egg production and early progression, but no single pairing is established as best for every account (AllThingsHow fusion guide).

Decide whether a chicken is worth using as a donor
Before opening Fuse, name the chicken you want to retain and the feature you want from the other one. Then consider whether the donor is replaceable and whether using it sacrifices something you still need. If losing either chicken would undermine your current plan, wait rather than treating fusion as an automatic upgrade.
Compare candidate fusions by the activity they target, the trait or ability to preserve, the donor’s value, the locks available, and the current preview and cost. Published builds are starting points; your own roster and priorities determine whether a pairing makes sense.

Why the preview and cost matter
Secondary guides describe selectable locks and a displayed fusion cost, but they do not establish a universal formula for every inherited trait or stat result. An unlocked feature may not transfer as expected, and reported claims that fusion produces stronger stats should not be treated as a promise for every chicken. Check the live preview and cost immediately before confirmation, especially after changing a selection or lock.
