Neither GoDaddy nor ProfesionalHosting is a clear winner for every site. GoDaddy’s surfaced U.S. offers are entry-level shared hosting and managed WordPress; the detailed ProfesionalHosting comparison is a managed WordPress VPS with specified resources and a Madrid location. Those are different hosting classes, so compare like with like—and check renewal pricing, taxes, and the exact configuration before choosing.

At a glance: these offers are not equivalent

Offer What the surfaced listing includes Price context
GoDaddy Web Hosting Economy One website, 25 GB NVMe storage, cPanel, and a first-year SSL offer $6.99/month for the first one-year term on the U.S. product page, retrieved October 7, 2026; renewal price not established
GoDaddy Managed WordPress Basic One site, 10 GB NVMe, WordPress pre-installed, managed control panel, SSL without renewal fees, security, CDN, optimizer, core updates, and migration tooling $6.99/month for the first one-year term on the U.S. product page, retrieved October 7, 2026; renewal price not established
ProfesionalHosting VPS Económico WordPress Entry-level WordPress VPS; the overview lists 30 GB storage and 3 GB RAM €18.01/month with an annual promotional coupon, excluding VAT, on the overview retrieved October 7, 2026
ProfesionalHosting VPS Profesional WordPress 6 GB DDR4 RAM, 60 GB NVMe, 4 CPU cores, 100 Mbps, unlimited transfer, Madrid location, Plesk for 10 domains, managed VPS, migration, and support The detail page lists €93.57 monthly, €75.17/month as the annual equivalent, and €70.23/month for biennial prepayment. Its overview separately displays a conflicting promotional annualized price of €52.62/month for a similarly named tier; verify the configuration and checkout total.

The GoDaddy figures are introductory U.S. prices for the first year, not matched renewal rates. The ProfesionalHosting prices use euros, and the cited promotional overview figure excludes VAT. The products also differ in capacity and management model; the table is a snapshot of listed offers, not a like-for-like price ranking.

What GoDaddy’s surfaced plans are suited to

Shared hosting for a straightforward site

GoDaddy describes standard web hosting as shared server hosting. Its surfaced Economy offer is for one website, with 25 GB NVMe storage and cPanel. The same product page shows higher introductory shared tiers with more sites and storage, but the surfaced evidence does not establish their renewal costs.

Managed WordPress for less server administration

The Basic managed WordPress listing is also $6.99/month for the first one-year term in the U.S. snapshot. GoDaddy describes its managed WordPress service as handling basic administrative tasks, including WordPress installation, automated daily backups, core updates, and server-level caching. The listing also includes security, CDN, an optimizer, and migration tooling.

GoDaddy’s general hosting page advertises a 99.9% uptime guarantee, automatic daily backups, unmetered bandwidth, and data centers in North America and Europe. These are provider claims and terms, not independent measurements of uptime or speed. Its page states a 30-day money-back period subject to its terms. Check the applicable offer and terms at purchase.

Do not interpret “unlimited” marketing language as proof that an account has no resource limits. GoDaddy’s agreement identifies storage and file-count limits for covered accounts, and describes VPS as a distinct service that gives customers control over a virtual instance.

What ProfesionalHosting’s surfaced plans are suited to

Shared hosting in Spain

ProfesionalHosting’s shared-hosting page promotes NVMe SSD storage, a Spanish data center, Let’s Encrypt SSL, and a free .es or .com domain for eligible plans during the first year. The surfaced page snippet gives a promotional €6.48/month figure but does not establish a complete plan comparison or renewal rates. Treat it as a changeable offer, not a fixed benchmark against GoDaddy’s first-year U.S. prices.

Managed WordPress VPS in Madrid

The WordPress VPS overview describes plans configured for WordPress and WooCommerce, with NVMe storage, Plesk, managed administration, and a Madrid data center. It lists multiple resource tiers and annual promotional prices with a coupon, excluding VAT. Add-ons such as cPanel, extra CPU, RAM or storage, and SSL certificates may be separately priced.

The detail page for VPS Profesional WordPress specifies 6 GB DDR4 RAM, 60 GB NVMe storage, four CPU cores, 100 Mbps, unlimited transfer, Madrid location, Plesk for 10 domains, managed VPS, migration, and support. Its displayed prices conflict with the overview’s promotional annualized figure for a similarly named plan. Confirm the exact plan, billing term, included license and add-ons, tax, and amount charged at checkout instead of assuming the two prices describe identical configurations.

The provider’s standard VPS page advertises free migration, a first-year domain on eligible annual plans, and a 15-day refund or trial statement. Conditions may depend on the specific service, so check the terms for the plan selected.

How to choose for your site

Match the hosting class first

  • For a basic site on shared hosting, compare GoDaddy shared hosting with ProfesionalHosting shared hosting—not with a managed VPS.
  • For managed WordPress, compare the administration, backups, support, and resources included in each specific plan. The detailed ProfesionalHosting plan here is a VPS, which is not equivalent to GoDaddy’s entry managed WordPress listing.
  • If you need VPS-level resources or control, compare VPS plans and their management scope, not entry-level shared prices.

Calculate the full-term cost

Before committing, check the introductory and renewal rates, billing commitment, currency, VAT or other applicable tax, domain renewal, SSL terms, and paid control-panel or performance add-ons. For ProfesionalHosting’s WordPress VPS, reconcile the overview and detail-page prices against the configured checkout plan. For GoDaddy, verify the cart’s renewal amount and eligibility for advertised domain or SSL inclusions.

Match location to your visitors

The cited ProfesionalHosting VPS pages specify Madrid. GoDaddy’s general hosting page lists data centers in North America and Europe, without establishing which location a particular customer’s site will use. Choose based on your visitors and deployment needs; these listings do not establish which provider will be faster for a given audience.

Check management and business needs

Confirm whether the plan includes server administration, WordPress-specific assistance, migration, backups, and the support coverage or channel you require. For agencies, ProfesionalHosting advertises white-label reseller hosting with custom panel branding and URL, private DNS options, and plan-based resources. GoDaddy Pro describes reseller capabilities that let users sell products under their own brand and set prices. These features matter for client-site management or resale, not necessarily for an ordinary single-site owner.

What the available evidence can—and cannot—settle

The published material supports a conditional shortlist, not a universal winner. GoDaddy may fit someone looking for a familiar entry-level shared or managed WordPress offer in the U.S. market shown. ProfesionalHosting is worth considering for a buyer seeking a Spain-based provider or a managed WordPress VPS with published resource tiers and a Madrid location.

The surfaced prices do not establish which service costs less over a full renewal cycle, and provider claims do not establish which host is faster, more reliable, or more responsive in support. No independent comparative benchmark for those outcomes is established here. Decide using the exact plan, configuration, audience location, and full checkout terms rather than the headline price alone.
