There is no evidence-based universal “best” glossy OLED monitor in this group: the models differ in size, resolution, refresh modes, and even panel construction, and the available specifications are not an independent head-to-head test. These five editorial picks are organized by use case, not ranked by measured performance. Before buying, confirm the exact model, availability, ports, and warranty for your country.
How these five glossy OLED picks differ
“Glossy” does not tell you everything about an OLED monitor. ASUS markets some WOLED models with its TrueBlack Glossy finish, while it describes certain QD-OLED models as semi-glossy. The finish, panel construction, size, resolution, and refresh-rate modes are separate buying considerations.

Choose the PG27UCWM for compact 4K and fast mode switching
The 26.5-inch ASUS combines 4K at 240Hz with an FHD mode up to 480Hz. ASUS specifies DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 and a 0.03ms response time. The latter is the manufacturer’s stated figure, not an independent measurement. ASUS describes its RGB stripe design as omitting the white subpixel found in conventional WOLED; that construction may matter to buyers researching text appearance, but it does not establish how text will look in every setup.

Choose the PG32UCWM for a larger 4K desktop
The 31.5-inch model shares the PG27UCWM’s listed 4K 240Hz and FHD 480Hz modes, TrueBlack Glossy finish, DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, and stated 0.03ms response time. The principal distinction in the published specifications is screen size. Consider desk depth and viewing distance before choosing a larger panel; the specifications do not establish a universally ideal size.
Choose LG’s 32GX850A-B for a 32-inch 4K/165Hz option
LG identifies this 32-inch monitor as Glossy OLED and specifies 4K up to 165Hz or FHD up to 330Hz, with a stated 0.03ms GtG response time. LG notes that reaching the higher refresh modes depends on a supported graphics card and connection. Its product materials list HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, but check the current specification sheet for the exact mode supported over the connection you plan to use.

Choose the PG27AQWP-W if speed is the priority
This 27-inch 1440p ASUS has a listed native refresh rate of 540Hz and a dual mode of 720p at 720Hz. Its 0.02ms response-time figure and the description of it as ASUS’s fastest OLED monitor are manufacturer claims. Confirm regional availability and exact model naming before purchase; the product’s existence and advertised specifications do not establish local stock.

Dell lists the 39-inch AW3926QW at 5K with 165Hz or a 330Hz mode and a stated 0.03ms response time. Dell describes its RGB stripe Tandem OLED as delivering deep blacks even in well-lit rooms. That is a vendor product claim, not an independent finding that it will handle reflections better than every glossy rival. Verify the precise mode behavior and physical format on Dell’s current page before deciding whether its size and resolution fit your desk.

How to choose by room, desk, and use
Account for reflections before choosing a glossy finish
Look at where windows and lamps sit relative to the screen. A glossy finish may suit a room where reflections are manageable, but visible light sources can be distracting. RTINGS’ OLED buying guide, updated September 2, 2026, notes that a matte OLED alternative in its coverage handles reflections better but looks less clear. That is a model-specific comparison, not a rule that every matte screen beats every glossy one.
Match resolution and size to your viewing distance
The choices range from 27-inch-class 1440p screens to 26.5- and 31.5-inch 4K monitors, a 32-inch 4K model, and a 39-inch 5K option. A larger image can call for more desk depth or a greater viewing distance; a higher-resolution panel may better suit a desktop that also shows detailed work. The product specifications provide formats, not a universal best size or viewing distance.

Read dual-mode refresh rates as a trade-off
A dual-mode display offers different resolution-and-refresh combinations, not both maximum figures at once. The ASUS PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM pair 4K at 240Hz with FHD at 480Hz; the LG pairs 4K up to 165Hz with FHD up to 330Hz; the PG27AQWP-W pairs native 1440p at 540Hz with 720p at 720Hz. Confirm that your graphics hardware and chosen connection support the mode you want. LG explicitly cautions that its higher refresh modes depend on supported graphics and connection.

ASUS distinguishes its TrueBlack Glossy true Tandem RGB OLED models from its WOLED and semi-glossy QD-OLED offerings. ASUS says the RGB stripe design omits the conventional WOLED white subpixel. This is useful construction information, but the available product specifications do not prove a particular text-rendering result across operating systems, applications, or viewing distances.

What to verify before ordering
- Exact regional SKU: Model names, availability, and listed specifications can vary by market. Match the product page to your country and retailer listing.
- Connection and mode support: Check the monitor’s current regional specification sheet and your GPU’s capabilities for the resolution, refresh rate, and port combination you intend to use.
- Warranty terms: ASUS lists a three-year warranty for the PG27AQWP-W and XG27AQWMG in its 2025 announcement. Warranty coverage is country- and SKU-dependent, so confirm the terms where you buy.
- OLED protection features: ASUS lists OLED Care Pro and proximity-sensor features on applicable models. Check that the specific SKU includes the features you want; their presence is not a substitute for reading the warranty’s coverage and exclusions.
- Current price and stock: Prices and inventory change, and the product pages cited here do not establish a current retailer price or local stock.
For the ASUS PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM, ASUS’s 2026 press materials also make claims about color volume, heat, and vent temperature relative to earlier products. Treat those as ASUS comparisons, not independently verified results against the monitors in this shortlist. Likewise, vendor response-time figures should not be read as comparable independent test results.
