If the Giant Food app and website both fail, check Giant Food’s official homepage before changing account settings or reinstalling anything. On October 13, 2026, the homepage reported that both services were unavailable; the notice did not give a cause or restoration estimate. If the service is back but your issue persists, use the support route for your specific problem—and first confirm you have the Giant Food app, not the separate GIANT Food Stores app.
First, check whether the Giant Food service is down
Giant Food’s official homepage displayed this notice on October 13, 2026: “Our Giant Food website and app are currently unavailable.” It named no cause and gave no estimated restoration time. This is a point-in-time status, not confirmation that the service remains down; check the official Giant Food homepage for the current notice.
If the app and website are failing at the same time, a service interruption is a reasonable possibility. It does not establish that every crash, login error, or coupon problem has the same cause. During the October 13 notice, Giant Food named Instacart, DoorDash, and Uber Eats as delivery options. Availability depends on location, and Giant Food did not say whether its coupons or rewards work on orders placed through those services.
The notice said unfulfilled orders placed through GiantFood.com or the Giant Food app would be refunded. It did not specify refund timing or process. Keep your order details and check the current notice or contact Giant Food about an order-specific question. Giant Food also said its stores, pharmacies, and fuel stations remained open during normal business hours.

Make sure you have the right Giant app
Giant Food and GIANT Food Stores are separate brands with distinct apps and account support. Check the app name and the store brand in your area before following login or rewards instructions. Google Play describes Giant Food’s app as supporting online and in-store shopping, weekly ads, coupons, Flexible Rewards, and a digital Giant Food card; its listing reported an update on August 7, 2026. That feature list does not show whether a particular user’s issue is device-specific.

If the Giant Food app keeps crashing or loading
The reviewed Giant Food sources do not provide an official, app-specific sequence for crashes, a spinning screen, or failed login. They also do not establish supported iOS or Android versions, a known login-loop fix, or whether clearing app data is safe. Avoid treating generic phone troubleshooting as a Giant Food-approved fix, especially if it could remove locally stored information.

- Check the official Giant Food homepage for a current service notice, particularly if the website is failing too.
- If the service appears available but the app still fails, open Giant Food’s contact page and choose the route for online-order or account questions.
- Describe what happens and when. Provide your device model and operating-system version only if the current support form requests them.
If the app won’t let you log in
For Giant Food, use the online-order and account support route on its official contact page. The reviewed Giant Food materials do not document a particular password-reset sequence or guarantee that reinstalling will resolve a login problem.
If your app is for GIANT Food Stores, its account page offers “Forgot username?” and “Forgot password?” options, along with secure-code sign-in. SMS verification requires a mobile number in GIANT Card Information; email verification requires an address in User Information. If you can no longer access the phone number or email on the account, the page directs customers to chat or call 1-888-814-4268. Confirm the current number and support hours on that live page. These recovery instructions are for GIANT Food Stores, not Giant Food.

If Giant Food digital coupons aren’t showing
Giant Food’s digital-coupon page says to sign in to clip coupons and displays terms and expiration dates for individual offers. Check the specific offer rather than assuming every coupon has the same eligibility, limit, or end date.
- Confirm that you are signed in to the correct Giant Food account.
- Open the offer and check its terms, limits, and expiration date.
- If the offer still appears incorrectly, use the “In-Store, Rewards & Offer Questions” route on Giant Food’s contact page.
The reviewed coupon information does not promise that a clipped coupon synchronizes immediately across the app, website, and checkout. If you are shopping through a third-party delivery service during an outage, Giant Food has not established that its digital coupons or rewards transfer to that order.

GIANT Food Stores has separate rewards guidance: its page says weekly earning offers activate after being viewed in that brand’s app or website. Do not apply that condition to Giant Food. Likewise, an Instacart help page associated with GIANT Food Stores describes manufacturer coupons and says late, missing, or incorrect items can be reported through Instacart’s app or website within three days of pickup or delivery. That is Instacart’s order-issue policy, not a rule for Giant Food app coupons.

Giant Food’s official contact page separates “Online Order & Account Questions” from “In-Store, Rewards & Offer Questions” and lists available options such as chat, order-issue reporting, email, and phone support. Use the live page for current routes and hours, since contact options can change.
