GhillieSuits.com describes a four-piece set with jacket, pants, hood, and rifle wrap. Its page says polyester thread is attached to netting that allows airflow and can accept local vegetation. Compare the hood’s face coverage and garment fit with your needs; the listing includes an anecdotal customer observation that hood coverage may be sparse, not a controlled assessment. DIY kits: useful for customization, but require assembly
The Next Generation kit listing includes 5-by-9-foot nylon netting, seven synthetic thread colors, and instructions for assembling a lightweight poncho. The seller says leftover materials can be used to change colors or make other concealment items. That flexibility comes with assembly work, and the result is a poncho rather than a jacket-and-pants suit. Consider whether that coverage and the time and skill involved suit your activity. Care and fire precautions for the kit
The kit maker’s care and warning page says jute is flammable and advises keeping it away from flames and sparks. It recommends dry cleaning; if the product is washed with water, the maker says its fire-retardant treatment must be reapplied. How to compare options for your terrain and activity
- Match color to the setting. The Arcturus listing offers woodland and dry-grass versions; the DIY kit lists seven colors for combination.
