Jumpscare is a Rare pet in Adopt Me!’s Halloween: Ghost Gallery event. The official event announcement lists its adoption cost as 40,000 Candy Corn, earned by defeating the Ghost Gallery boss at the Manor. The announcement was published October 3, 2026; it does not state when the event ends.
How to get the Jumpscare pet
- Go to the Manor. Ghost Gallery takes place there, according to Adopt Me!’s official “Halloween: Ghost Gallery Notes!” announcement.
- Enter Ghost Gallery. During the activity, ghosts fly into furniture. Use the Ghost Blaster to release them, and have your pet sniff them out as described in the event announcement.
- Defeat the boss. The official announcement identifies defeating the Ghost Gallery boss as the way to earn Candy Corn.
- Save 40,000 Candy Corn and adopt Jumpscare. That is the listed event-currency price for the Rare pet.
The announcement does not give a Candy Corn payout per run, a guaranteed number of attempts, or an estimate of how long it takes to reach the price. Plan around the 40,000 total rather than assuming a particular farming rate.
Jumpscare is not the Jumpscare Badge
The event announcement lists several items with similar names. Jumpscare is the Rare pet priced at 40,000 Candy Corn. The Jumpscare Badge is a separate Common item listed for 600 Candy Corn. Spirit Goggles are another separate item: Rare, priced at 4,800 Candy Corn.
