The GEEKOM IT13 Max pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H with a compact 0.9L chassis, but its value depends on which memory configuration you buy. The reviewed 24GB model has soldered RAM, while a separate 16GB SO-DIMM configuration is described as upgradeable. It is best suited to office work, coding, and lighter creative tasks—not as a default pick for demanding gaming or memory-heavy creative workloads.
What the IT13 Max offers
GEEKOM lists the IT13 Max as a 0.9-liter mini PC built around Intel’s Core Ultra 9 185H. The product family includes configurations with 24GB LPDDR5-5600 memory or 16GB DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, and the manufacturer advertises up to 6TB of M.2 storage, dual USB4, multi-display support, Windows 11 Pro, and Linux compatibility. In its review of a 24GB/500GB configuration, TechRadar lists the Core Ultra 9 185H as a 16-core, 22-thread processor with integrated Intel Arc graphics and an Intel AI Boost NPU. Check the memory configuration before buying
The most important distinction is whether the listing is for fixed LPDDR5 memory or a SO-DIMM model. TechRadar’s 24GB review unit has soldered RAM that cannot be upgraded. The review separately describes a 16GB DDR5 SO-DIMM version with two slots and support for up to 96GB; GEEKOM also advertises up to 96GB for its SO-DIMM configuration. Do not apply that ceiling to the 24GB model, or assume the same upgrade path across SKUs.

Storage deserves the same SKU-level check. The reviewed machine came with a 500GB SSD, which TechRadar said could fill quickly for local files. GEEKOM advertises up to 6TB of M.2 storage for the product family, but that does not by itself establish the number of accessible slots or the compatible drive format in every version. Confirm slot availability and compatibility for the exact model before planning an expansion.
How it performs for everyday work
TechRadar’s reviewer judged the IT13 Max an excellent option for office and light creative work. The processor is powerful, but the reviewed configuration’s fixed 24GB of memory and 500GB of storage can limit flexibility for workloads that need more memory or large local project files. Integrated graphics also make this a less compelling choice for demanding gaming or graphics-heavy creative work. The review’s assessment is about the tested SKU, not a guarantee of performance in every configuration or application.

The review also notes RS232/RS485 headers, which may be useful in industrial integration scenarios. That is a specialized consideration rather than a reason most home-office buyers would choose the machine.

Sale prices in the available coverage are dated offers, not guaranteed current prices. Windows Central reported on October 6, 2026 that the 24GB LPDDR5/500GB SSD Amazon configuration was $674, reduced from $799, during a promotion stated to run October 1–7. - Look elsewhere or compare carefully if your work depends on memory upgrades, large local files, demanding gaming, or graphics-intensive creative applications.
- Before checkout, verify the RAM type and whether it is replaceable, the SSD capacity and expansion details, included display and USB4 connectivity, regional warranty and return terms, and the final price for the precise SKU.
There is no fair same-price benchmark comparison established here against a competing mini PC. A useful decision is therefore configuration-first: compare upgradeability, storage, graphics requirements, ports, warranty terms, and the live total price rather than choosing by processor name alone.
