Back in the Fold has four collectibles. Follow the chapter’s route from the opening street to the approach to Echo Park, checking the landmarks below before moving on.
All four collectible locations at a glance
| Order | Collectible | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Front Page of the Tyran Chronicle | Opening street, on the right near the Bar & Lounge sign |
| 2 | Anti-UIR Propaganda Poster | Right-hand route toward Landa Medical, on a wall |
| 3 | Landa Memorial Medical Supplies Memo | Inside Landa Medical, around reception and nearby tables |
| 4 | COG Tags of Private Brick Russo/Rosso | Before Echo Park, beside a fallen Gear near a police car |
These locations are reported by chapter walkthroughs from Gamerpillar (October 5, 2026), AllThingsHow (updated October 7, 2026), and XboxAchievements.com. They agree on the four-item count and broad route, though some descriptions differ on exact placement or spelling.
1. Front Page of the Tyran Chronicle
At the opening street, look to the right near the Bar & Lounge sign. Check the alley or alcove and the nearby doorstep before continuing toward the billboard. Walkthrough descriptions place the newspaper around the steps or entry beside the sign, so use the right-side street and sign as your cues rather than relying on one exact angle.

As you approach Landa Medical, take the right-hand path or stairs and inspect the wall along that route. The poster is described on a graffiti-covered wall; scan the wall before proceeding to the clinic entrance.
#1 Best Overall
- AN ORIGIN STORY BEGINS — Fight alongside Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago in the gripping origin story of Emergence Day, as the Locust Horde erupts from below.
- A DARKER, GRITTIER THREAT — Face reimagined enemies and a terrifying underground invasion that restores the fear, dread, and intensity at the heart of the Gears of War series.
- MULTIPLAYER EVOLVED — Battle in Horde Siege for large‑scale PvE action or prove your skill in refined Versus PvP with greater precision and competitive depth.
- CLASSIC COMBAT, MODERNIZED — Experience signature cover‑based gameplay enhanced with updated movement, traversal, and controls that feel like Gears while playing like something new.
- CO‑OP YOUR WAY — Play online with up to four players across Campaign, Horde Siege, and Versus, or team up locally with 2‑player split‑screen co‑op on console.
3. Landa Memorial Medical Supplies Memo
Once inside Landa Medical, search the reception area and the nearby tables before leaving. Guides describe the memo either at the reception desk or on tables to the right, so check both spots rather than passing through the clinic quickly.

Before reaching Echo Park, look for a fallen Gear near a police car and inspect the body for the tags. Guides spell the soldier’s surname as both Brick Russo and Brick Rosso; check the item name shown in your game if the distinction matters to your collectible record.
