According to a Dexerto report published October 11, 2026, GameStop’s $10,000 Riptonium Pokémon Power Pack had a 44.8% listed chance of revealing a card estimated at $6,000–$8,000—at least $2,000 below the pack’s price on those estimates. Another 29.9% fell in the $8,000–$10,000 band, which is below or equal to the price but does not establish a loss of thousands. These are reported estimates and displayed odds, not guaranteed resale values or documented buyer results.
What are the reported odds of losing money?
Dexerto reported these value bands for the $10,000 Riptonium pack on October 11, 2026. The odds were displayed probabilities, not a sample of completed purchases or measured pull results.
| Estimated card value | Reported chance | What that means against a $10,000 price |
|---|---|---|
| $6,000–$8,000 | 44.8% | At least $2,000 below the pack price on the estimate |
| $8,000–$10,000 | 29.9% | Below or equal to the price; this band alone does not show a loss of thousands |
| $10,000–$20,000 | 22.9% | At or above the price on the estimate |
| $20,000–$40,000 | 1.5% | Above the price on the estimate |
| $40,000–$80,000 | 0.5% | Above the price on the estimate |
| Above $80,000 | 0.4% | Above the price on the estimate; the highest estimate Dexerto reported was $156,000 |
The two bands below $10,000 total 74.7% of the reported odds. But only the 44.8% band is clearly thousands below the purchase price; the 29.9% band ranges from a $2,000 shortfall to parity. These comparisons use the reported estimated card values, not the amount a buyer would necessarily receive in a sale. Dexerto’s report said the displayed probabilities update every five minutes and card values fluctuate, so the figures are a snapshot rather than a durable odds table.

Power Packs are digital pack experiences that reveal a real PSA-graded card. Under GameStop’s Power Packs Terms of Purchase, a pack represents one PSA-authenticated, graded and encapsulated trading card or sports card. The official overview says the revealed card is placed in the buyer’s PSA Vault account, where it can be held, shipped, or sold.

The listed Riptonium odds in the October report do not mean a buyer receives cash equal to the estimated value. GameStop’s terms say: “The Value of your Item(s) may not meet or exceed the price you paid for your Power Pack purchase.” They characterize value as estimated, subjective, and subject to change.
How selling or withdrawing the card affects the outcome
The purchase terms describe a limited saleback option for up to seven days after purchase, subject to the applicable terms and a marketplace surcharge. If the buyer does not use it, the card can remain in the vault or be withdrawn to a physical address for an associated cost. A displayed estimate is not a guaranteed net payout: saleback is governed by the terms and surcharge, while a sale elsewhere depends on the outcome of that sale.

Are these the current Riptonium odds?
The reported odds are dated October 11, 2026. The official listing located for comparison was for the different, $5,000 Neutronium tier: it showed a 44.9% band at $3,500–$5,000 and also warned that values fluctuate and probabilities update every five minutes. That listing does not confirm Riptonium’s odds. The current Riptonium odds therefore are not independently established by that official listing.
