Choose a Galaxy Watch3 band by your watch’s case size first: the 41mm model uses a 20mm connection, while the 45mm model uses a 22mm connection. The widths are not interchangeable, and Samsung warns that some third-party 20mm bands may not connect properly even when the width matches. Check the watch model and the band listing’s compatibility before buying.
Check whether your Galaxy Watch3 is 41mm or 45mm
Samsung’s support guidance distinguishes the two Galaxy Watch3 sizes by their band connection width and lists compatible watch families for each. The replacement band must match the connection width; the case size itself is not the band width.

Choose a band for the 41mm Galaxy Watch3
The 41mm Galaxy Watch3 takes a 20mm band connection. Samsung lists bands for the Galaxy Watch Active2 (40mm and 44mm), Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch (42mm) as compatible families for this model. These are fit-compatibility options, not a ranking of their comfort, materials, durability, or style.

Samsung cautions: “Due to the precise structural design of the strap connection lug, third-party 20 mm bands may not fit or connect properly.” A 20mm measurement alone therefore does not establish that a third-party band will attach securely. Look for explicit Galaxy Watch3 (41mm) compatibility and follow Samsung’s band replacement guide.
Choose a band for the 45mm Galaxy Watch3
The 45mm Galaxy Watch3 takes a 22mm connection. Samsung lists bands for the original Galaxy Watch (46mm) as compatible with this model. Do not substitute a 20mm band intended for the 41mm Galaxy Watch3.

Check that a replacement listing names the Galaxy Watch3 (45mm) or an explicitly compatible 22mm watch family. The support guidance’s third-party warning specifically addresses third-party 20mm bands; it does not establish a comparative quality or fit guarantee for other replacement bands.

Verify fit before buying
- Identify the watch as the 41mm or 45mm Galaxy Watch3; use the model number if needed.
- Match the connection width: 20mm for 41mm, 22mm for 45mm.
- Check that the listing explicitly names your Galaxy Watch3 size or a compatible watch family listed by Samsung.
- For a third-party 20mm band, account for Samsung’s warning that the connection lug design may prevent some bands from fitting or connecting properly.
- Compare the replacement band’s stated length with your wrist measurement; the supplied strap length is only a reference.
