As of October 13, 2026, Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, or S27 Ultra in the official sources available here. There is no confirmed four-phone lineup to compare, and the S27 Pro name itself is unverified. If you need a phone now, consider a confirmed model such as the Galaxy S26 Ultra; if you specifically want an S27, wait for Samsung to publish the models, specifications, and prices before choosing.
Are the Galaxy S27 models official?
No. Samsung’s official announcements establish the Galaxy S26 generation, not any of the four S27 names in the headline. Recent coverage discusses S27 names and possible specifications as rumors, reported leaks, or purported renders—not as Samsung-confirmed product details. A name appearing in a leak is not an announcement.
That means there is no reliable basis yet to say which S27 would suit a particular buyer or to declare one the best value. In particular, Samsung has not confirmed a distinct S27 Pro model in the official sources cited here.

What is confirmed about Samsung’s current lineup?
Samsung announced the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra on February 25, 2026, and said general availability would begin March 11, 2026. Samsung later announced worldwide availability. The S26 Ultra is identified in Samsung’s announcement as the flagship. These are confirmed S26 facts, not evidence of the S27 lineup or its release schedule. Samsung’s S26 announcement and its worldwide availability announcement provide the official details.

| Confirmed model | Display size stated by Samsung | What the figure means |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy S26 | 6.3 inches | S26-generation figure; Samsung notes display measurements and visible area vary with rounded corners and the camera opening. |
| Galaxy S26+ | 6.7 inches | S26-generation figure; Samsung notes display measurements and visible area vary with rounded corners and the camera opening. |
| Galaxy S26 Ultra | Not stated here | The official source cited above identifies it as the flagship; do not infer an S27 specification from that designation. |
The 6.3-inch and 6.7-inch figures describe the S26 and S26+ only. They do not establish S27 screen sizes, and they do not answer how the rumored S27 models might differ.
What S27 specifications and prices are still unconfirmed?
Samsung has not confirmed S27 displays, cameras, processors, batteries, memory, storage, prices, regional variants, or release dates in the official sources cited here. Secondary reports relay purported memory and storage configurations, possible price increases, and leaked renders, but none should be treated as a settled product fact.

- Tech Advisor’s roundup, updated October 8, 2026, covers reported expectations and rumors; its update date is not an S27 launch date.
- TechRadar’s September 23, 2026 report relays purported memory and storage information, not confirmed specifications.
- Tom’s Guide’s October 1, 2026 report discusses a possible price increase as a rumor, not an official Samsung price announcement.
- Android Central’s August 27, 2026 coverage discusses leaked renders; those do not confirm the final design or product lineup.
Accordingly, no confirmed S27 price or launch date can be given from these sources. Do not use a rumored price, configuration, or calendar estimate as if Samsung had published it.
Should you buy a Galaxy S26 now or wait for the S27?
Buy a confirmed phone now if you need one
If replacing your phone cannot wait, choose among Samsung’s confirmed, available S26 models based on their official specifications, your preferred size and features, and the price offered where you live. The S26 Ultra is a current buy-now option, not a prediction about what the S27 Ultra will be. Check Samsung or a retailer for live stock, regional compatibility, and current pricing.

Wait if your decision depends on S27 details
If you want to compare the S27+ with an S27 Ultra, or are holding out for an S27 Pro, wait for Samsung to announce the lineup and publish model-specific details. At that point, compare confirmed price and storage, display size and resolution, camera hardware and zoom, battery and charging, chipset and regional variants, weight and dimensions, and software support. Also check whether Samsung actually includes a Pro model. Until those details are official, the evidence does not support naming a best S27 buy.
