There is no reliable universal price gap in the available listings: the quoted prices use different currencies and storage configurations, so compare current prices in your country for similar storage.

Which phone has the better display?

The Signature’s listed screen is slightly larger at 6.8 inches, while the S26+ offers more pixels at 3120 × 1440 compared with the Signature’s 2780 × 1264. That makes the Samsung the higher-resolution option on paper; the Motorola gives you a little more listed screen area. The figures are from PhoneArena’s comparison.

Samsung’s official measurement convention is worth noting: its Singapore newsroom describes the S26+ display as 6.7 inches diagonally across the full rectangle, or 6.5 inches when rounded corners are accounted for. The usable area is smaller still because of the rounded corners and camera hole. See Samsung’s official S26 series announcement.

How do RAM, storage and battery compare?

PhoneArena lists the Signature with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The S26+ is listed with 12 GB of RAM and either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. More listed RAM does not by itself establish that the Signature will run apps or games faster; performance also depends on the processor, software and workload. Storage configuration availability may vary by country.

The same comparison lists a 5,200 mAh rated battery in the Signature and 4,900 mAh in the S26+. The Signature therefore has the larger stated capacity, but capacity alone cannot tell you which phone lasts longer in everyday use. The available specifications do not establish controlled battery-life results for both devices.

Which charges faster?

TechRadar reports 90 W wired and 50 W wireless charging for the Signature. Tom’s Guide lists 45 W wired and 25 W wireless charging for the S26+. These wattages are reported specifications, not measured charging times. Actual charging behavior can depend on the phone, charger, cable, battery level and conditions. Confirm the local model’s supported charging and what is included in its box before buying.

Which phone is smaller or lighter?

In PhoneArena’s listed measurements, the Signature is longer at 162.1 mm, but slightly lighter at 186 g. The S26+ is 158.4 mm long and weighs 190 g. The Signature is also listed as slightly wider and thinner. These are small differences; if fit matters, compare the exact regional models and try them in person when possible.

What do the durability ratings mean?

PhoneArena lists the Signature as IP69 and MIL-STD 810H, while TechRadar also reports IP68/IP69 for it. PhoneArena lists the S26+ as IP68. Ratings describe tested protection under specified conditions; they do not make a phone damage-proof or guarantee coverage for liquid or impact damage. Verify the exact model’s rating and warranty terms in your market rather than assuming every regional variant or warranty is identical.

What is the price difference?

The quoted figures do not support a fair direct price subtraction. Tom’s Guide reports the S26+ launch starting price as $1,099 in the US, £1,099 in the UK and AU$1,849 in Australia. It says official Galaxy S26 series sales began March 11, 2026. These are launch-price references, not today’s offers. PhoneArena’s comparison rounds the S26+ MSRP to $1,100 for 256 GB and $1,300 for 512 GB.

PhoneArena lists the Signature at €1,000 for a 16 GB/512 GB configuration. That is a different currency and configuration context from the S26+ US-dollar launch figures, so it does not establish that one phone is cheaper. Use the same country, currency, storage tier and price type (current retail offer or launch/MSRP) when comparing. Prices and stock can change; Samsung’s US S26+ product page provides a product buying flow but does not establish a fixed current price or stock level.

Which one should you choose?

  • Consider the Motorola Signature if its larger listed screen, 16 GB RAM configuration, higher stated battery capacity, reported charging wattages or listed durability ratings matter most—and the local price and availability work for you.
  • Consider the Galaxy S26+ if you prefer its higher listed display resolution or need the 256 GB storage option shown in the comparison. Check the current price for your region and configuration.
  • Compare them in person or seek comparable testing if your decision depends on camera quality, gaming, processor performance or real-world battery life. The available sources do not establish controlled, side-by-side results for those areas.
