The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G is the stronger documented pick for a 120 Hz AMOLED screen and long-term software support; the Motorola moto g37 power is the paper choice for battery capacity, with a 7,000 mAh claim. There is no reliable like-for-like price difference without matching RAM and storage: Samsung’s figures are 2025 launch prices, while Motorola’s ₹19,999 is a current family-page listing whose exact variant linkage needs checking.
At a glance: what the evidence shows
| Priority | Samsung Galaxy M36 5G | Motorola moto g37 power |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED, 1080 × 2340, up to 120 Hz, according to Samsung’s product specifications. | 6.67-inch IPS LCD according to the secondary comparison listing; Motorola’s retrieved official page does not expose a detailed display specification table. |
| Rear camera | 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP, with optical image stabilization (OIS) on the rear camera, per Samsung’s specification page and launch announcement. | Motorola’s official product page headline advertises a 50 MP camera; the retrieved page text does not establish the full camera array or OIS. |
| Front camera and video | 13 MP front camera; Samsung says front and rear cameras can record 4K. | Not stated in the retrieved official source. |
| Battery and charging | 5,000 mAh typical capacity and 25 W fast charging; Samsung says the approximately 25 W charger is sold separately. | 7,000 mAh advertised capacity. Charging details are not stated in the retrieved official sources. |
| Software support | Samsung announced six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. Its product page lists a security-update period through December 31, 2031, and notes that plans can change. | No specific OS-upgrade or security-support commitment was established in the retrieved official sources. |
Samsung’s product page says the M36’s 5,000 mAh figure is typical capacity; the rated minimum is 4,905 mAh, and actual battery life varies. Specifications describe advertised features, not a comparative hands-on test.
Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose the Galaxy M36 for screen quality and documented support
The M36 has the clearer case if you want an AMOLED panel, a stated 120 Hz maximum refresh rate, and a published long-term update commitment. Samsung also specifies OIS for the rear camera, which helps counter camera movement when taking photos or video. These details make the M36 easier to assess from official specifications.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Consider the moto g37 power if battery capacity is your first concern
Motorola advertises a 7,000 mAh battery, which is a higher stated capacity than the M36’s 5,000 mAh typical figure. That makes it the capacity pick on paper, not proof that it lasts a particular number of hours or longer under every use pattern. Runtime also depends on factors such as screen brightness, network conditions, software, and workload.

Do not pick a camera based only on megapixels
Samsung provides more complete camera specifications and explicitly claims rear-camera OIS and 4K recording from both front and rear cameras. Motorola’s retrieved official page supports the 50 MP headline claim, but not a full camera-system comparison. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos.
Price difference: compare matching configurations
The available prices come from different contexts, so they are not a guaranteed current, like-for-like comparison. Samsung’s figures are introductory India prices announced in 2025; Motorola’s figure is a family-page price displayed when its listing was accessed in 2026. Confirm today’s seller price, stock, offers, and the exact RAM/storage variant before calculating a difference.
