The Galaxy A37 5G costs more in Samsung’s El Salvador catalog, but its documented upgrades are specific: an 8MP rather than 5MP ultrawide camera, support for charging up to 45W rather than 25W, and an IP68 rather than IP64 rating. Both models share a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and a typical 5,000mAh battery. The A27 is the lower-cost choice; the A37 may suit buyers who value those three differences.

What is actually different between the phones?
Camera: higher-resolution ultrawide on the A37
Samsung lists a 50MP main camera on each phone. The A37’s ultrawide camera is 8MP, compared with 5MP on the A27. Those figures describe resolution, not demonstrated photo quality: no independent camera comparison is established here. Choose based on the camera configuration you want, not an assumed overall image-quality lead.

Charging: A37 supports a higher maximum rate
Samsung cites support for charging up to 45W on the A37 and up to 25W on the A27. These are maximum supported rates, not guaranteed charging times. Samsung notes that the 45W charger is sold separately for the U.S. A37; that detail should not be generalized to every market or to the A27’s box contents. Samsung’s U.S. announcement
Durability: higher IP rating on the A37
The A37 is rated IP68 and the A27 IP64 in the cited Samsung materials. Samsung describes the A37 rating as tested in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes; its A27 material describes an IP64 water-spray test. These are controlled test conditions, not a promise of unrestricted water safety. Samsung warns against beach or pool use. Neither phone should be described as waterproof. Display and battery: stated capacities are the same
Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and a typical 5,000mAh battery for both models. Those shared headline specifications do not distinguish one phone from the other. A stated battery capacity also does not establish equal real-world runtime; no comparative battery test is available here. Samsung France buying guide · Samsung Uzbekistan announcement

For either model, verify the local price, storage configuration, availability, and charger details with Samsung or the seller in your country. Regional variants can differ. Samsung also says AI availability may depend on model, software, region, language, Samsung account, and internet connectivity, so do not assume an identical AI feature set across markets.
