The Galaxy A27 5G is most convincing as a daylight, 1x still-photo camera. Its 50 MP main camera has optical image stabilization (OIS), but review findings point to soft detail in weaker light, blur on moving subjects and limited results from the secondary cameras. Rear 4K recording is available, though GSMArena reports that stabilization stops at 1080p30. The model’s ₹30,000 price reference also needs context: Samsung’s June 2026 launch price was ₹28,999 for the 6 GB/128 GB version, not a guaranteed current price.
What the Galaxy A27 5G camera system includes
Samsung India lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP wide camera with OIS, a 5 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. The front camera is 12 MP. Samsung specifies that 50 MP resolution applies only to the rear wide camera; the megapixel count is not a guarantee of that level of detail in every scene. Samsung India’s specifications also list digital zoom up to 10x. That is digital zoom, not optical zoom: the reviewed configuration has no dedicated telephoto camera. Samsung Newsroom India specifies a 115° field of view for the ultra-wide, but a wider view does not mean detail or image quality matches the main camera.
Where the main camera works best
Daylight and still subjects at 1x
The main camera is the strongest part of the system. GSMArena and SamMobile describe it as generally capable outdoors, making the standard 1x view the safest choice for everyday photos in good light. Expect the most dependable results with still subjects and adequate light; these are reviewer observations, not a guarantee for every scene. GSMArena’s review and SamMobile’s review discuss the main camera’s performance.

OIS helps counter small movements of the phone, but it cannot freeze a person, pet or other moving subject. In weaker light, SamMobile reports soft detail and shutter lag; GSMArena describes soft detail and noisy or murky shadows. OIS is therefore useful, but it does not ensure crisp motion or clean low-light images. For the best chance of a sharp shot, use 1x, hold the phone steady and photograph a subject that is not moving quickly.

People, pets and other movement
Motion blur is a weak area in review coverage, including observations from 91mobiles. A subject moving during the exposure can blur even when OIS steadies the phone itself. The A27 may capture casual action, but the available review evidence does not justify promising reliably sharp results for running children, pets or sports. 91mobiles’ review discusses the camera’s motion limitations.
What the secondary cameras are useful for
Ultra-wide: fit more into the frame, accept less detail
The 5 MP ultra-wide is useful when stepping back is impossible or when a broad scene matters more than fine detail. Reviewers report substantially less detail than the main camera, with weaker results indoors and in low light. Treat it as a framing option rather than an equal-quality alternative to 1x.

Macro: an occasional close-up, not a buying reason
The 2 MP macro camera has fixed focus. Review coverage describes limited useful detail and a close working distance, so it is best regarded as an occasional novelty rather than a dependable way to capture detailed close-ups.
Digital zoom: convenient framing, not a telephoto substitute
Samsung lists digital zoom up to 10x, but the figure should not be mistaken for optical reach. GSMArena reports blotchy detail at 2x in daylight and soft results at 2x in low light. Digital crops can help with casual framing, but avoid relying on them when fine detail matters.

Video: choose between 4K detail and stabilization
GSMArena reports that the rear main camera records 4K at 30 frames per second and 1080p at up to 60 fps. In that review, stabilization is available up to 1080p30, so 4K recording is not stabilized. Choose 4K30 when resolution matters and the phone can be held steadily; choose 1080p30 when stabilization is the priority. The ultra-wide and front cameras are reported to top out at 1080p30, not 4K. GSMArena’s review is the source for these video capabilities and stabilization limits.
Selfies and video calls
The front camera is 12 MP. GSMArena describes selfies favorably for the segment, while 91mobiles calls them decent; good-light selfies and video calls are a reasonable use case. GSMArena reports front-camera video up to 1080p30. Neither the listed resolution nor those review impressions establish front-camera 4K recording.

How the ₹30,000 price reference fits
Samsung announced the Galaxy A27 5G in India on 30 June 2026, with availability beginning 3 July. The launch announcement listed these configurations and prices:

Samsung also described a ₹3,000 bank/UPI cashback offer, subject to its terms. These are launch figures, not confirmed current prices; live price and stock can differ. The roughly ₹30,000 framing most closely matches the launch price of the 6 GB/128 GB variant. The higher-memory configurations launched above that amount, so any camera value judgment should be tied to the exact variant and price being considered. Is the Galaxy A27 5G camera good enough for everyday photos?
It is a plausible fit if everyday photography mostly means outdoor scenes, still subjects and the main camera at 1x. It is a less convincing choice if sharp indoor action, detailed ultra-wide images, useful macro photography, strong digital zoom or stabilized 4K are priorities. The published reviews are individual evaluations, not a controlled comparison across phones around ₹30,000; they do not establish that the A27 is the best camera phone at that price.
