The Gabit Smart Ring is a screen-free tracker for sleep, activity and everyday wellness, and Gabit says ring data carries no recurring subscription fee. It may suit buyers who want passive tracking and do not need a display, notifications or GPS. The main cautions are that tracking accuracy is not independently established by the sources available here, the ring may be inconvenient during some workouts, and reviewers reported scratches on dark finishes.
What the Gabit Smart Ring tracks
Gabit lists a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor, a skin-temperature sensor and a Bosch 3D accelerometer. Its app reports sleep stages and scores, activity and workout scores, steps, estimated active calories, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability (HRV), stress and skin temperature. You can also log food and view calorie balance alongside activity and rest.
These are wellness features, not a medical assessment. Gabit says the ring is not intended to diagnose or treat conditions and should not replace professional medical judgment. Does it really have no monthly fee?
Gabit’s FAQ says there is no subscription fee for the ring and that the purchase includes lifetime access to ring data and new features launched by the company. That is Gabit’s stated policy, not independent verification of future service terms. The FAQ also describes paid nutrition and fitness coaching plans, so “no subscription” applies to access to ring data, not necessarily to every service Gabit offers.

Battery life: the estimate and one reviewer’s experience
Gabit estimates 7–10 days per charge, with the battery capacity varying by ring size. In its October 2026 review, Gizbot’s reviewer reported close to a week from a size 12 ring worn for weeks. After ordering, buyers receive sample sizing rings and then confirm their chosen size through the app. Gabit recommends the index finger on the non-dominant hand, while allowing another comfortable finger. Gizbot’s reviewer found the app cluttered and removed the ring for cricket, dumbbell exercises and washing their face. A ring can be awkward when gripping equipment or playing sports where a hard object on the finger is unwelcome. Both Gizbot and Business Standard reviewers reported visible scratches on tested dark-finish units. Kumari also described the charging case as light and somewhat flimsy. Warranty, returns and terms to check
Gabit’s FAQ states a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturing defects under normal use and excludes accidental damage. It also says there is no refund policy; for manufacturing defects, the company describes inspection and repair or replacement within 30 days. Who should consider the Gabit Smart Ring?
- A reasonable fit: Someone who wants a discreet, screen-free way to follow sleep and daily wellness trends, prefers a ring over a wrist wearable, and values Gabit’s stated no-fee access to ring data.
- Look elsewhere if: You need GPS, notifications, a display or live workout information, or you do not want to remove a ring for lifting or sport.
- Buy cautiously if: You need medically validated measurements, are concerned about finish wear, or cannot confirm a comfortable size using the sizing kit.
