The Fractal Design Meshify 3 XL Ambience Pro RGB is a very large, airflow-focused case whose added appeal is integrated lighting and a supplied Adjust Pro Hub—not a proven cooling advantage over other Meshify 3 XL editions. It suits builders who need broad component and radiator support and want lighting control included. Its footprint and relatively limited storage provision make it a less obvious fit for compact builds or storage-heavy systems.
What the Ambience Pro RGB includes
The black, light-tint tempered-glass Ambience Pro RGB is SKU FD-C-MES3X-03. Fractal Design lists a 71.29 L volume, dimensions of 575 × 245 × 515 mm, and a net weight of 11.4 kg. Its rockface-inspired mesh front, air guide, sliding top panel, and cable-routing aids are part of a design aimed at airflow and spacious builds.
This edition includes three front Momentum 14 fans, an Adjust Pro Hub, and an animated startup lighting effect. Fractal describes the fans as having LCP blades and true fluid-dynamic bearings; lighting configuration is available through a browser-based tool. How it differs from other Meshify 3 XL editions
The Ambience Pro RGB should be considered specifically for its included ambient lighting treatment and Adjust Pro Hub. The regular XL RGB TG, tempered-glass, and solid-panel editions are distinct configurations; do not assume that their included lighting or controller arrangements match the Ambience Pro. The available product information confirms the Ambience Pro’s hub and lighting, but does not establish every wiring or controller difference among editions.

Those figures are launch-era prices displayed in the review, not verified October 2026 offers. A controlled same-build comparison showing that the Ambience Pro cools better than other XL versions is not established. These are case limits, not a guarantee that every combination of oversized components will fit comfortably. In particular, verify how the chosen radiator and fan arrangement affects graphics-card, memory, and motherboard clearance.
Cooling layout and practical trade-offs
The published radiator support is broad: up to 420 mm at the top, 360 mm at the front, 360 mm at the side, and 120/140 mm at the rear. Fan positions listed by Fractal are three front 120/140 mm or two 180 mm, three top 120/140 mm, three side 140 mm, and one rear 120/140 mm.

Club386 reports support for up to ten 140 mm fans and lists the included fans’ range as 350–1,800 RPM, airflow up to 74.39 CFM, and a peak noise level of 28 dBA. These are review-reported specifications, not independent measurements established here. The reviewer praised the 180 mm fan support, compatibility, hub, and build experience, while noting two drawbacks: no vertical GPU mounting and relatively limited storage for a case of this size.

- Measure first if desk or floor space is tight: its listed volume is 71.29 L and it weighs 11.4 kg.
- Look carefully at drive needs if you plan a storage-heavy build; the reviewer considered its storage provision limited relative to the chassis size.
- Check the exact edition and SKU when comparing listings, since Ambience Pro RGB, RGB TG, TG, and Solid are not interchangeable names.
