The item most likely meant by “permanent souvenir” is the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible, a seasonal 7-Eleven collaboration activity—not an officially described permanent collectible. Xbox Wire’s October 8, 2026 announcement says to smash 20 sandwiches near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet during Autumn. It does not give exact coordinates or a confirmed fix if they fail to appear.
First, check whether you mean the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible
“Souvenir” can refer to more than one Forza Horizon 6 feature. The sandwich activity is the closest official match to a collectible that appears at a particular location. Xbox Wire named it the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible and placed it near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet. The announced objective is to smash 20 during Autumn for Festival Playlist completion points and a new Forza LINK reward.
The announcement does not call the sandwich activity permanent. If you are expecting it to be available year-round, the mismatch may be the seasonal condition rather than a problem with your game: the official description ties the activity to Autumn.

- Confirm the item. Make sure you are looking for the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible, not a Collection Journal memento, a collectible mascot, or a Car Meet location. These are separate features.
- Check the season. The announcement specifies Autumn. Check the current in-game seasonal activity and confirm that the Autumn objective is active before looking for the sandwiches. The announcement does not promise that the activity remains available in other seasons.
- Search the named area. Go near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet. That is the location Xbox Wire identifies; it does not publish map coordinates, a route, or a more precise spawn point. Avoid assuming the Car Meet itself marks the exact spot where every sandwich appears.
- Check that the relevant content is available in your game. Xbox Wire said the Horizon Meets update, including its Festival Playlist and Evolving World content, was available to download on October 8, 2026, the day of its announcement. That statement does not provide platform-specific installation steps or establish that every player’s installation is current.
- If the conditions appear to match but nothing is visible, record the details. Note your platform, the in-game season, the activity wording, and the area you checked. A screenshot or short clip can help describe the issue if you seek help through an official Forza support channel.
If the sandwiches still do not appear
If Autumn is active, the correct activity is listed, and you are near the named Car Meet, but the collectibles remain absent, treat it as an unresolved visibility or availability issue. The official announcement does not identify a cause or document a recovery method.

In particular, there is no confirmed basis in the announcement for promising that restarting the game, reinstalling it, changing settings, or buying hardware will make the sandwiches appear. Those actions may take time or create extra work without addressing the cause. The announcement also does not give a specific refresh control, spawn trigger, or platform-by-platform troubleshooting procedure, so do not assume one.
The practical next step is to preserve the details of what you see and report the mismatch through an official support channel if it continues. Describe the conditions you checked rather than presenting an unverified workaround as a fix.

Other things you might mean by “souvenir”
| Feature | Where or how it appears | Availability and purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible | Near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet | Seasonal Autumn activity; smash 20 for Festival Playlist completion points and a new Forza LINK reward. Xbox Wire announcement, October 8, 2026. |
| Collection Journal | Mementos discovered throughout Japan | A digital collection feature, distinct from the sandwich activity. Xbox Wire interview, January 22, 2026. |
| Permanent Car Meets | Three in-game Car Meet locations | Xbox Wire describes the locations as permanent. That refers to the Car Meets, not to the seasonal sandwiches. Xbox Wire interview, January 22, 2026. |
| Collectible mascots | Distributed around game areas | A separate collectible category that gives a small reward. Xbox Wire preview, April 8, 2026. |
These distinctions matter because a permanent place to meet, a Journal entry that records discoveries, and a seasonal item to smash are not interchangeable. The presence of a permanent Car Meet does not establish that the sandwich activity is permanent.

The October 8, 2026 Xbox Wire announcement establishes the sandwich activity’s name, nearby landmark, Autumn condition, target of 20, and stated rewards. It does not establish exact coordinates, a spawn trigger, a diagnostic explanation for missing items, or a confirmed fix. The related Xbox Wire material distinguishes the Journal, permanent Car Meet locations, and collectible mascots, but does not supply a workaround for this particular visibility problem.

Because the activity is seasonal and the announcement is time-specific, its availability can depend on the active season. If the in-game activity is not currently offered, the announcement alone is not evidence that the sandwiches should appear at another time.
