The reported Fortnite x Yeat Icon Series collaboration is scheduled to reach the Item Shop on October 15, 2026, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, alongside update v42.40. Players should expect a multi-item release rather than a single outfit, but Epic had not yet confirmed the cosmetic names or bundle price in the available announcements and reports.
When does the Yeat Fortnite skin release?
The reported shop launch is October 15, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET. Because October uses Eastern Daylight Time in the United States, that is midnight UTC on October 16. Players elsewhere may therefore see the collaboration on October 16, depending on their local time zone.
| Reference zone | Local release time |
|---|---|
| U.S. Eastern Time | October 15, 8 p.m. |
| U.S. Pacific Time | October 15, 5 p.m. |
| UTC | October 16, 12 a.m. |
The release is expected to coincide with Fortnite update v42.40. The time comes from contemporaneous reports, so the live Item Shop remains the final authority if Epic changes the schedule.

What is in the Yeat Fortnite collaboration?
Reports describe an Icon Series package containing the following items:
#1 Best Overall
- Redeemable on accounts in the United States and in U.S. Dollars.
- Gift card must be redeemed at EpicGames.com/redeem. This gift card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly on a console device (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, etc.)
- If you play Fortnite experiences on a console device, you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account(s) so items purchased at Fortnite.com/item-shop appear across all of your linked accounts
- Requires internet connection, valid Epic account and prior acceptance of the terms
- Redemption: Online
- Two outfits
- Two back blings
- One pickaxe
- Two emotes
- One microphone accessory
- One wrap
- One Kicks cosmetic
- Three Jam Tracks
The three reported songs are “If We Being Real,” “Money so big,” and “Get Busy.” The package is therefore broader than a standard character-only release, covering Battle Royale cosmetics and Fortnite Festival-related music items.
What has Epic confirmed—and what has it not?
The launch date, reported Icon Series classification and item breakdown come from current secondary coverage. However, the individual outfit and accessory names had not been published in the material available for this article. Epic also had not announced a final bundle price.

A frequently repeated estimate of 2,600 to 3,000 V-Bucks is speculation, not an official price. Treat any listing that presents that range as confirmed as premature until the in-game shop displays the actual cost.

- Update Fortnite to version v42.40 when it becomes available for your platform.
- Open Fortnite after the update and enter the Item Shop.
- Look for the Yeat Icon Series section or search the featured shop pages at the release time.
- Open each listing to check the exact outfit names, included items, individual prices and any bundle discount.
- Review the Jam Tracks separately: the shop may sell them in a bundle, individually, or through a combination of listings.
- Complete the purchase with existing V-Bucks or an authorized V-Bucks purchase after confirming your account, country and platform details.
Fortnite’s Item Shop rotates. Epic says it cannot grant an offer that is not currently listed, and a future return date is not guaranteed. If the Yeat items do not appear immediately, restart the game after the update, verify that the shop has refreshed, and check the live listing rather than relying on an old screenshot or leaked price.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
- Redemption: Online
Is this a Fortnite Festival headliner announcement?
No separate Fortnite Festival headliner announcement was confirmed in the available material. The collaboration is being reported as an Icon Series Item Shop release that includes Jam Tracks. Those music items can be part of the Yeat package without establishing a broader Festival concert or headliner event.
How the release fits Fortnitemares 2026
The launch falls during Fortnitemares 2026. Epic’s event announcement describes October content across Battle Royale, Horde Rush and Reload, including the return of the Horde Rush limited-time mode and an updated Nitemare Island arriving in Reload on October 8 alongside the Stranger Things and Squid Grounds maps.

That seasonal timing explains why the Yeat drop may appear among other October shop and gameplay updates, but it does not change the reported 8 p.m. ET release time.

What to compare with other Icon Series bundles
Once the listing is live, these are the useful comparison points:
Best Value
- Redeemable on accounts in the United States and in U.S. Dollars.
- Gift card must be redeemed at EpicGames.com/redeem. This gift card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly on a console device (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, etc.)
- If you play Fortnite experiences on a console device, you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account(s) so items purchased at Fortnite.com/item-shop appear across all of your linked accounts
- Requires internet connection, valid Epic account and prior acceptance of the terms
- Redemption: Online
- Total V-Bucks cost: compare the complete bundle with the sum of individual listings.
- Cosmetic mix: count outfits, back blings, harvesting tools, emotes, wraps, Kicks and accessories rather than judging the package by its headline skin.
- Music value: check whether the three Jam Tracks are included, discounted, or sold separately.
- Styles and reactions: inspect each outfit for alternate or reactive styles; none were confirmed before the shop listing.
- Return risk: shop items can rotate back, but Epic does not guarantee when a particular offer will return.
What players should verify at launch
- The exact names of both outfits and every accessory.
- The final V-Bucks price for the bundle and individual items.
- Whether all three songs are in the headline bundle.
- Any style, animation, reactive or platform-specific details.
- The shop’s purchase and gifting eligibility for your country and account.
Until those details appear in the live Item Shop, the safest description is a reported Yeat Icon Series release arriving October 15 at 8 p.m. ET with two outfits, a set of accessories, two emotes and three named Jam Tracks.
The Bottom Line
Check Fortnite’s live Item Shop at 8 p.m. ET on October 15, 2026. The Yeat collaboration is reported to include two outfits, multiple accessories, two emotes and three Jam Tracks, while its official cosmetic names and V-Bucks price must be confirmed in-game.
