To open a Fortnite Cheat Code Chest, interact with its four-arrow console, then enter the displayed directions in order using your movement controls: forward is up, back is down, and left and right match their directions. Guides recommend searching Green Hills, Stone Sanctum, Lifty Lodge, Shaken Sanctuary, and The Battlewoods, but these are suggested areas—not a verified list of every spawn.
How to open a Cheat Code Chest
- Find the console. Look for a glowing four-arrow marker and follow its visual or audio cue. The panel may be attached to a wall or object, tucked into a corner, or hidden behind something that must be broken.
- Interact with it. The console displays a directional sequence. Read the sequence before entering it; the code is specific to that console.
- Enter the directions in order. Use your movement controls: forward for up, back for down, and the corresponding left and right inputs. Match the displayed sequence exactly.
- Collect the reward. After the code succeeds, pick up the Sprite. The chest color indicates its reported rarity tier, but not a specific Sprite.
